By car: - Arriving at OR Tambo International Airport, follow the M1 North. - Take the R55/Auckland turn-off and turn left onto Empire Road. - Continue in the direction of Milpark Hospital. - Look out for the M71/Emmarentia turn-off. - Bear left on the ramp and continue on Barry Hertzog Road. - You will pass the Chamber of Mines building (now the Milpark Business School) on the left. - Pass through the S-bends, with Melvillle on your left and Parkview Golf Course on your right-hand side. - Drive past Emmarentia, with the shopping centre on your left and Greenside to your right. - Continue until you see the Shell gas station. - Take the LH fork onto Linden Road. - Continue downhill, through the traffic lights and up 3rd Avenue. - The town houses should be on your left; the Catholic church on your right. - Continue straight ahead at the following 2 roundabouts; then turn left onto 9th Street. - Keep on the lookout for Cherry Tree Cottage on the RHS - 57 Ninth Street Linden.
