Lovely setting, excellent location and facilities, very good breakfast. Big room furnished in a very nice quaint style. Lovely views from the room. Excellent location, 2 minutes walking distance from restaurants, etc.Staff was friendly and helpful, the room was nice and spacious and had everything (and more) I needed. Clean room, Helpful and friendly staff. Not the nicest place to stay in Franschhoek as it is a lovely village and everywhere you go over the hills has lovely views apart from this place. Although centrally located, it is not walking distance to the wineries. Not great value for money either.

Travelling information

By car:

- Coming from Cape Town, follow the N1 in the direction of
Franschhoek.
- Take exit number 47 (Klapmuts) and follow the signs directing you to
Franschhoek.
- Once in Franschhoek, follow the main road until you can see the
ABSA Bank on the corner.
- Turn left onto La Rochelle Street and continue until you reach the stop
street.
- Turn right.
- The guest house is after 50 metres on your left

- Entering Franschhoek from Franschhoek Pass, continue along the
main road until you see ABSA Bank on your right-hand side.
- Turn right onto La Rochelle Street.
- At the stop street, turn right and continue for about 50 metres.
- The guest house is on your left-hand side.
