The TV lounge on the top floor offers a flat-screen TV with 20 different channels, and a fireplace.Guest can also make use of Wi-Fi that is available throughout the house and the terrace.
Upon request, a personal driver can transport guests from Cape Town International Airport, 20 km away. The V&A Waterfront and the beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay are less than a 10-minute drive away.

I arrived in Cape Town late and unsure of my surroundings. The folks at Sweet Ocean view remied this immediately. Natalie welcomed me and explained the workings of the premises completely, even though it was very late. Morning breakfast was delicious and delightfully shared with the other guests and staff. The help and suggestions for sight-seeing, the warmth of their reception, the early morning pick-up and early access to the room, nice and friendly enviroment, lovely decor. Excellent breakfast.We stayed at the Sweet Victorian Guesthouse, a small but very cosy and comfortable house with two seperate bedrooms and ensuite bath/showerrooms. It is worth the money compared with other 4* guesthouses. Especially the German owners are really nice and helpful. We would stay there again!. In relation to charges usually paid for this type of accomodation, the cost was fair. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I was picked up from the airport (extra cost) on time and given wine travelling from the airport in their car ("Old Timer") I enjoyed my stay .They looked after us very well. I would stay again . The hotel booked our Nelson Mandela tour etc very efficiently. Comfortable room. beautiful house, nice staff. Accomodation comfortable. This was a very poor hotel and I did not like anything. It spoiled my holiday. Suggest you tell guests they need a car for convenience, although taxi service was good for town trip.. The internet cost could be done on minutes of usages rather than on a per day basis. On arrival, nobody there to let us in, we were left waiting in the street until the person arrived to check us in. toilets very noisy in all the house, no jaccuzi working, no self-catering posible with a staff cooking in the house from 7h to 17 h 7J/7, no relaxing posible with the staff always shouting inside the house, moreover every little service is very expensive : one clothe to wash is about one euro !! internet is about 29 rands per day, etc. Very disappointed, could have been nice.Staff vacuming whilst trying to rest in the afternoon Could not get dstvsorted out in order to watch Rugby and had to go out.

- As soon as you enter the city, you will pass the traffic lights. At the 5th traffic light, turn right into Strand Street. Strand Street will continue into High Level Road.
- When you enter Sea Point, after approximately 4 km, look out for Barkly Road, (cul de sac) on the left-hand side.
- Turn left into Barkly Road, and Sweet Ocean View Guesthouse is the 3rd house on your left-hand side. It is a 2-storey mansion painted in turquoise colours.
