The habit of covering the mattress in a waterproof cover under the bedclothes is really unpleasant: it leads to hot and sweaty nights; I'm not much impressed with the assumption that the bed needs protection from the traveller either. I think this is a fault of the whole chain: I found the same in Vienna.We were on the 6th floor and the air conditioning did not work well. Also the refrigerator was lukewarm, not even cool. Bedding could have been better and air con did not cool the room enough. The hotel was somewhat expensive although probably not out of line with other good hotels in Ljubljana. Nothing jumps to mind. Despite booking 2 rooms at the same time, we got 1 very small room and 1 standard size room. The small one was awkward when staying a whole week. parking facilities. closed restoran. The room is slightly dated, but has all the amenities of a 5 star hotel.for the price it was disappointing to have a cracked coffee cup in the room which was not replaced until we took it downstairs. very noisey and ineffective air conditioning. the noise of the a.c. motors and from the streets. The restaurant offers international dishes with an emphasis on healthy Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, a wide choice of top-quality wines and aperitifs. Our daily special also features 3 lunch menus: classic, diet and vegetarian. The seasonal menu focuses on fresh, seasonal ingredients available on the farmers markets, and particular attention is paid to unusual and locally grown items. The restaurant is open Monday to Saturday, from 08:00 until 00:00 and Sundays and public holidays from 11:30 to 00:00. A rich buffet breakfast with fresh Illy coffee is served Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 10:30, and on Saturdays and Sundays as well as public holidays from 07:00 to 11:00.

- After about 1 km turn left again onto the motorway towards Ljubljana.
- Follow the motorway until the end and turn left at the traffic lights towards Ljubljana city centre.
- Stay on the Celovska road for about 5 km towards the city centre.
- Immediately after passing under the railway bridge, turn right into Tivolska road.
- At the 1st traffic lights, turn left into Šubičeva Street.
