Great location as smack bang in the middle of the old town area, by the Triple Bridge; can walk to anything. Room was basic but fine for our needs & was clean & tidy. We only stayed here one night, but were very impressed with the chap at Reception as we were leaving about 6am (before breakfast) the next day, so he arranged for lunch packs to be made up & waiting for us as we checked out - fantastic! We didn't use it but they have as self service laundry which is very rare for a ho.
all reviews » the staff is very welcoming and helpful. the rooms are very clean and rather big. the hotel itself is in the center of the pedestrian zone which means on one hand to get there you need to park the car and go by foot (7-10min), but on the other hand it's very close to the center of the city and to the river. there is free good signal wifi in the rooms. The Hotel Emonec is perfectly located just inside the pedestrian-zone, a few steps from the Triple Bridge and many outdoor cafes and restaurants. The staff are excellent. The rooms while small have everything needed. An excellent laundry facility is especially appreciated by travelers. Location was very good for us, Front Desk person was helpful when we had a question. We appreciated the wifi and the lobby computer. Inclusion of breakfast was very nice. Our room was basic and fine for us, however quite warm (we were there during a heat wave). centrally located and distance to train station and bus station are not far less than 10minutes walk.i travelled to maribor,postojna,koper,zagreb...etc. looking forward to organise another holiday....and stay in this hotel. The location is perfect. The young ladies at reception are charming and efficient. Everywhere is spotlessly clean, and the hotel is quiet despite its central location. Breakfast is simple but quite adequate. The rooms were very clean and the interior of the hotel is much better than it appears to be due to it seriously lacking a good curb appeal. Nothing - only an overnight stay, but the shower is quirky! The shower head is mounted very low so you can't stand under it, unless you hunch down... no AC in the rooms (not that you need it most of the times). the breakfast isn't that good. be sure to make parking reservation before arriving.. it costs 7 euro per day which is a lot better than the public parking which will cost around 40 euros per day.
