A really friendly and relaxing place to stay in a small town which is ideally situated for transport links into the High Tatras. It's a 10 minute walk to station. Our apartment was spacious and comfortable and homely with nice touches like a place for walking boots and to dry waterproofs. Guests can use the lovely garden which has lots of seating and awnings (in case of rain) and can use the gas barbecue to cook on and help themselves to a pint of on-tap beer, keeping a tally to settle later. .
all reviews » This place is located at a calm and picturesque street. There is a cozy garden with BBQ and playground for your children. Poprad is a quiet town. We didn't notice any active life late in the evening. Also you can go to aquapark in this town. Our apartment was clean and roomy with kitchen and big bathroom..The living room was large with big bed. The hostess is friendly and pleasant woman. In Pension Vila Mery you feel that everything is done with love and care. We received a warm welcome when we arrived in the evening, and were very impressed with our room/apartment. It was extremely spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. We got good recommendations for a restaurant and activities during our stay. The owners were very accommodating letting us keep our bags in the room after check-out time. We were very happy with the hotel. Everything was perfect. Owner of the hotel a very kind people. They always see what you like or dislike and have a personal approach to everybody, so in the end of the stay you feel like those people know you for ages and know how to make you stay as pleasant as it can be. I really advice this pension to families how would like to have a comfort stay. That was not our first visit to Villa Mery and we would be staying here again and again while visiting Poprad. Exciting sleep quality, good location and quite street makes it already good, but people who are running this business make everything just great! Breakfast is also delicious. Excellent room. Clean and modern decor. Even a kettle in the room, but no tea or coffee! Breakfast nice and tasty. Hot selection available too. For the price, this pension offers excellent value, and only ten minutes walk from Poprad station. Villa Mery is located in very quiet place and that is quite important for us, as well as "parking" in the yard. People who own this business also live there and are very friendly. So we were quite happy with our stay. Very nice room with its own entrance and kitchen. Owners are very nice ppl. Pension is near the city center cca. 10min. walk. I recommend this guest house and will be there anytime I stay in Poprad. Forget other hotels if you want to enjoy family atmosphere with your friends or your family in Poprad, this is the place to stay. Owners are really great and will help you with anything. We stayed in a apartment for 4 and it was great!!! very spacious and well equipped!!! the location is very central. The discount for Aquacity - is really usefull!!! Thank you :). Outside BBQ was free to use, lovely friendly staff who occasionally played live music. Very family friendly and good for couples. Beer on tap. Great rooms/facilities. There's not much in the way of eating out options nearby in Poprad. For a tall person like me, i found the bed a bit short. Nothing!. Nothing. leaving. Location was in the "new" area of Poprad. The small, historic area of Poprad, close by, was much nicer. Would have stayed there had we known about it. Would recommend the "old" area, this is worth seeing, but not the "new area of the town. Leaving.
