It was much more than what i expected. The room was big and had a full kitchen. The room wasnt noisy, wich is a important thing to me! It is right on the beach and there is a big market and 2 restaurants on a walking distance. The boat to Anguilla departures from on a pier 5 min walking from the hotel. I Liked so much, we decided to stay the hole lenght of our stay at Atrium. I liked everything staff is so friendly I will go back. I like the manager also she is so friendly. I think it some of the most friendly staff in the whole of st marten. I think the morning shift is great.
all reviews » I was the second times in this hotel. The rooms and service are good. Between the rooms in the 2 and the 8 floor are very large differences. But I would go to this hotel again but then on the 6th floor. convenient to Fiesta Yacht charters where we were headed. Hospitality suite to fill the gaps between checkout and departure so we could fill the time at the beach. The apt. was beautiful, clean, the price was the best on the island; would stay there again. The scenic view was nice, & the staff was great. Loved our room - 7th floor overlooking the Caribbean. This was our first trip and we're already planning to return next year. Great room. Great location, even without having a car. The front desk staff and security were very helpful. Besides the price, location was good, ot far from the shopping and diners. Had to use pot with bath stream to wet self. The door to the deck/porch was very,very difficult to open & close ! The air conditioner was dripping on the deck but was fixed immediately when we reported it. Very good service. The safe in the bedroom closet kept beeping (Room 704) and I forgot to mention it at the front desk; they did take care of the squeaky balcony door right away, however. The hotel restaurant is expensive. service was not good and helpful at all. Welcome was not warm. Kitchen was not cleaned and DW has noise all night. The walls were a bit thin so it was quite noisy at night from outside noise and bright from window light even when blinds were closed. The pool is very small as our the balconies, you cannot sit out on them. the Wifi is terrible, unrealiable and very slow. They had originally assigned us an excellent room with a view on check-in and then when we went back to check in( check in is not till 4 but most flights arrive in SXm in the late morning or early afternoon) they had changed it to a not as good room because of a lare wedding party on that floor. House keeping kept waking me up in the morning asking to come in and clean,. The inefficiency of personal of front desk, (too slow). The inefficiency of the magnetic key (I do ask more than one time the sobstitution). The external gate closed to enter the night. The impossibility to buy water inside hotel. No internet in room, very slow internet in lobby. Not suitable for business travelers. The staff were not helpful. Kinda run down, notably pool area. Sad location, building sites and dumps around. Not clean or remotely new. Far away from the best sights on the island. Some of the staff was really nice, but, the ones at the ticket counter were incompetent. Small, tired an unattractive pool area. Flamingo nearby much better for a long stay. It was is very run down. We would not stay here again nor recommend it to anyone. It doesn't look like the pictures. They said they are renovating. They need it badly.
