  Position of the hotel was good, there is a bus stop for centro near a hotel, big parking place, staff was very friendly. The room was quite big enough for a family with children,but maybe for a longer stay a little bit small in a part for children.The breakfast was buffet Italian style (croissants, sweet cakes, one type of ham and cheese, cornflak... what people say » es, fruit) coffe prepared by staff. - Location to the top of San Marino was excellent, with a bus stopping outside the hotel, only taking 8 minutes to the top and only costing just over 1 euro. Staff were friendly and always willing to help. Cannot fault the hotel or the staff, had a lovely stay and would highly recommend.

  The hotel was a superb choice. Quality of service by all staff was simply exceptional, very personal attention. Also, although not cheap, we enjoyed a wonderful meal at the restaurant.   The room was well prepared for having guests, the air conditioned was functioning when we arrived, and this made the great difference with the 40 degrees outside. Very nice place for families with young children, nice pool and funny animation every night and during the day, for kids. Not so many attractions for older children or teenagers, though.... what people say » - Not what I expected, camping, wooden lodges and brick lodges, bit butlins. But clean if a little tired. The staff were nice and welcoming and I had a good nights sleep and refreshing clean shower in the morning.

  Hotel Rosa sits at the top of the hill in San Marino, right below the castle. It was comfortable, staff was very helpful and you could park right at the hotel. Mind you, getting into the parking area is a "thrilling" experience but the gentleman taking care of the desk was there to give very good directions to get your car in and out.   This is a great hotel in a small village in San Marino. We had a wonderful welcome from Ivan the owner who showed us around the small village. There is only 5 rooms in the hotel. Room 2 had a great view out over San Marinos castles and a very spacious sitting area - bathrooms were huge. Room 3 was very roomy for a triple room and had a separat... what people say » e wardrobe area. The rooms are completely soundproofed - although not a lot is happening in the village. The village policeman lives across the road - The hotel was cute wrapped around castle. We had three rooms a salon bedroom and bath all spotless. The staff were wonderful and very nice helped with places to see. We also had a problem with the police in San Marino who told us we needed an interntional drivers liscense or would be fined. The hotel staff discussed this with the local police and mayor told us we were ok and printed out stamped and signed documents to leave in our car. We will return to hotel with future trips.

My wife and I both think San Marino is one of the best places we have visited in Europe and are talking about returning next year.   The hotel's location is exceptional. It is in the very center of the old upper town. In our room we had two windows which allowed us to have about 270-degree view of Italy surrounding San Marino. They have quite a nice restaurant downstairs. The location on the path between the cable car and the main square was a key factor in choosing this place, and such was the convenience and welcome of this place that I ended up having lunch and drinks there throughout my stay.   This was a fine hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and quiet. Its location was perfect in order to visit the city...which was the purpose of my visit. - Great hotel and wonderful location
