This is a great hotel in a small village in San Marino. We had a wonderful welcome from Ivan the owner who showed us around the small village. There is only 5 rooms in the hotel. Room 2 had a great view out over San Marinos castles and a very spacious sitting area - bathrooms were huge. Room 3 was very roomy for a triple room and had a separate wardrobe area. The rooms are completely soundproofed - although not a lot is happening in the village. The village policeman lives across the road.
all reviews » The hotel was cute wrapped around castle. We had three rooms a salon bedroom and bath all spotless. The staff were wonderful and very nice helped with places to see. We also had a problem with the police in San Marino who told us we needed an interntional drivers liscense or would be fined. The hotel staff discussed this with the local police and mayor told us we were ok and printed out stamped and signed documents to leave in our car. We will return to hotel with future trips. Beautifully decorated large bedroom with adjoining living room. Look out onto spectacular views of San Marino. We were in room 2 and the rooms on the lower floor don't have such good views. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Located in nice little town about 15 minutes drive from San Marino city. Recommend visiting San Leo, an amazing mountaintop town and castle about 30 mins away. The place is not actually in the city San Marino, about 9 km from it. Very nice small village, the smallest from the villages in San Marino. The host is very nice speak very good english, very helpful and react very fast for any question. Everything is very clean and spacious.The view from the room is gorgious to San Marino castle. The breakfast is superb!. We loved the spacious room and the decor it was like an apartment - the room was very clean and attention to detail was fabulous. Breakfast and staff were faultless. The location to San Marino was 10 min drive and far enough away for a quiet relaxing stay. We highly recommend this Boutique Hotel and it is very reasonably priced. - everything was absolutely great and very high quality!! The staff, the hotel, the room (luxury room services - even own bath with whirlpool in bathroom) - delicious breakfast (the best crispy croisent rolls I´ve tested in Italia) - very friendly and helpful personnel. The hotel is really beautiful. Set in a historical palace in a small town about 10 min from the hsitorical center of San Marino. The stuff were very friendly and helpful. In the evening recomended to taste dishes from their restaurant on the first floor - nice vine collection and perfect meat and risotto. Everything was nice and very high quality! We could not find place for dinner elsewhere than in this hotel, and it is quite high-priced, although delicious. - no complaints. 15 minutes on the car to reach historical center. A little difficult to find, should be specified that the hotel is not in San Marino, it's in Montegiardino!. Spa bath was not working unfortunetly. But it was not really important for me, but for my mother :). Not a lot of options for breakfast. My friend is vegan and he couldn't eat almost anything. There is nothing to complain for the traveler who has a car. If no car, visiting the center might be a little troublesome. The Aircon didn't work in room 5 was roasting hot, did get them to check it but nothing done really old dirty Aircon unit, if you eat in there restaurant try the fregola was very nice but stay away from the tuna fish tasted like pork very salty and over cooked very expensive at €16. Unfortunately the whirlpool was not clean, so we didn't use it; The hotel is located in a small village, the main cities of San Marino are 20 minutes away with the car, the room itself was nice decorated but unfortunately the cleaning lady didn't take her job very serious. More like a B&B rather than a Hotel, due to the size of the hotel and having no-one in attendance in the hotel. bathroom not cleaned properly, poor breakfast in dark room. The room was incredibly DIRTY!.
