  The hotel is maybe not what you expect from 4 stars in Western Europe but for the price and service, I think it is a good deal. We had an executive room (note that minibar is not free in executive and standard rooms - unlike stated below) which was large and spacious, and very clean. In addition, there is a closet for your clothes with plenty of hangers, an iron board and - The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful. They provided directions to the Metro, post office and other places of interest. They arranged tours for us as well as booking reservations for us in local restaurants. The staff were just incredible and so friendly. The breakfast was included in the room and the breakfast was buffet style, with a very large and fresh choice of foods, and they would make eggs / omelettes if requested. We had difficulty with our air conditioner and we advise

It's nice that you can get in through back yard getting feel of old city.   The front desk staff spoke English very well, which eased everything. They provided the best customer service I have ever experienced in a hotel, and I am an experienced traveller. For example, I inquired about local photo equipment services and the front desk researched and prepared a map with instructions in English describing how to get there a... what people say » nd what to expect. Breakfast was fantastic. Concierge service was provided (friendly and efficiently) and arranged my airport transfer. Compared to my - The location was perfect for exploring the city. The staff were very helpful. The room was very comfortable with excellent air conditioning (it is worth saying that this is important in the summer. The unit was very quiet so did not disturb us in the night). We dined in the main restaurant several times and enjoyed the food which was Russian cuisine with some Italian dishes. Breakfasts were excellent and catered for a whole range of tastes.
