  First of all, we really appreciate the hospitality of really friendly staffs!! They speak English and if tried to speak in Russian, they also tried to hear me and teach me some.   Very friendly staff with good English. Super clean, separate showers and toilets which helps avoid queues. Comfy bunks in dorm room - didn't squeak and move around like most dorm bunks! Excellent location, practically next door to the Hermitage. Very pleased to see there is a lift as it's on 6th floor! - AMAZING location, just a couple of minutes... what people say » on foot to Nevsky Prospekt, St. Isaacs and the Hermitage.   Excellent! The double room with Santa Clause on the fenster is very cosy. Plenty of space, good pillows, huge blanket, 4 spacy shower rooms - it all makes a good proof for the hostels' slogan Feels like home. Simplehostel made my staying quite memorable.   We have never stayed in a hostel before and this was definitely superior to many hotels we have stayed in. It was thoughtfully and imaginatively designed and decorated. The staff were very helpful and gave lots of hints and tips about what to see and do, where to eat and drink in St Petersburg. It was by far the largest room we have ever st - Everything! Staff is amazing, makes you feel home, every night integrates people by promoting activities like movies, pub crawling, watching soccer game. They even prepare popcorn! Its so perfectly clean from kitchen, to bedrooms and specially bathrooms! Decoration is amazing and every detail is well done and organized. They even have umbrellas for gests and do your laundry for a small price which is totally worth it! Even if for some reason you have to stay at the hostel an entire day, still a
