We have never stayed in a hostel before and this was definitely superior to many hotels we have stayed in. It was thoughtfully and imaginatively designed and decorated. The staff were very helpful and gave lots of hints and tips about what to see and do, where to eat and drink in St Petersburg. There were activities or tours organised by the hostel each day which you were free to join in with. The room we stayed in, room 6, was absolutely stunning. It was by far the largest room we have ever st.

Its so perfectly clean from kitchen, to bedrooms and specially bathrooms! Decoration is amazing and every detail is well done and organized. We were an older couple and told it before hand that we were welcome to stay there. They had several rooms with private facilities. The view from the balcony overlooking was super, especially at night. I also like the computer facilities, the big kitchen with two gas stoves, two refrigerators and the large commons room. The place was kept very clean and floors mopped every day. The hostel was close to St Isaac's Cathedral and the famous horse statue of Peter the Great. Also there was a Mac Dona. This place is the best hostel I've ever been. Especially their dorm bed were superb. Every public space were clean,filled with sweet furniture and well organized. Their balcony which faced on lovely canal view will also amaze you. All staffs are very kind & friendly, speak good English. I enjoyed their Borscht cooking session!. Room was noisy flimsy curtains very bright early hard to sleep Thought it was a bit expensive for what I got.
