The hotel is not far from the city center (10 minutes walking). There are 3 stars wing and 4 stars wing. We staied at the 4 stars wing. The romms are very well equipped, nice and clean. The atmosphere in the hotel is very pleasant and the staff is friendly and helpful. Alfonso, one of the managers at the front desk is the best. He is working very hard to assist you with everything. charming:-).

Business Suite was perfect for our 9 month old to crawl around in.We have big room with LCD tv ,but without bath,Just duss cambin (room 211).The hotel have a very good staf and all speaking very good english. The other one with a tiny window in the part of the hotel thatis being renewed was more a drom room than a hotel 63EUR/night. That onewas disappointing and should not be offered for this price. It was justone night so we survived - if it had been more than that I wouldn't haveaccepted it. There was no air conditioning or even a fan in the room. Quite uncomfortable when it's over 30 degrees!. Only slight grumble is that breakfast is ok, it needs a better restaurant area, food is ok though. no tea/coffee making facilities in room. no bath in room, only a shower.the lack of lifts. Your description mentioned that some of the rooms were airconditioned. We found out that, yes, they did have some with ac but that they were considerably more expensive. It was cool enough with the windows open but the dog across the street howled all night.Our room was on it's own directly over the bar/ restaurant, so heardearly morning music quite loudly, and we had to walk through arestaurant full of people to access it. the description of rooms does not explain that some have not lift and are in an older part of the hotel.room fronting main street and therefore noisy. Also noise from lower rooms with terrace disturbing. Didn't like the fact that cigar smoking was allowed indoors. I'm used tocigarette smoke, being Europe..., But cigar smoke is pretty awful.Rom was a bit far from reception and main hotel rooms without lift. For those with heavy luggage, there is no lift in the Pension.I am not sure they have clear distinction for the rooms: smoking/non-smoking. We requested a non-smoking room, but there was still a smoke smell present. Single room dark, little natural light even with balcony. bathroom has window which is visible to others within hotel.should be covered,no air conditioning in room,. Got twin beds instead of double; shower leaked out of base; electric kettle not provided in room;. expected more from the breakfast and recognized food from the day before,no bath in the "designer bathroom". The way to our 3-star room were extremely uncomfortable (strange, sometimes evil-smelling coridors and yards, long and narow stairs down and up).The hotel did not honour the letsbookhotel.com reservations as made. The hotel promised without fail to get our laundry done but then forgot. Eventually, after a very strong complaint they did our laundry, charged us for ironing, but did not iron the clothes. the stuff were very rood and luck of kindness,beside ,no one can talk berfecte english. The entrance in the hotel is awful, via a garrage, is not worthing the money.

"Ambient Restaurant" has earned a well-deserved name among the citizens of Brasov who, in time, have become faithful clients.
