Me and my Friend stayed in Faraona in the end of our trip in Peru - as a moment of luxury in the end ;) Hotel itself is nice and tidy but huuuuge thanks to the Staff who helped us when my Friend was sick. We needed a doctor and then cash, one of the Members od Staff even wanted to go with me to the ATM machine as it was in the evening and dark outside. Thank you all again, Ladies in the Reception, Gentlemen in the Cafe and Restaurant and Gentlemen at the door, I don't know your names but I am.
all reviews » It's the fifth time of my trip to Peru,and finally encounter the best one in every aspect.Luxury outside and garden-like inside structure with plant and flowers in every needed place. Really high speed WIFI,very good breakfast with many different dishes every day, professional staff, clean ,quiet and good smell room with anything I want.Room service without extra cost on the receipt.It' the A+ hotel with cost only surounding US$90 in Miraflores. Excellent location, a few minutes walk to Park Kennedy and shops and restaurants. The hotel restaurant was good too, including breakfast with eggs cooked to order. Staff particularly helpful and friendly, on our return from Cusco they greeted us like long lost friends. Roof pool area although small is a nice place to sit away from the bustle of the streets. The courtesy of the staff deserves compliments. Everybody has treated us so well, showing a geniune sympathy. Besides, the hotel has a privileged location (in Miraflores); the beds and pillows are very comfortable; shower works good; and the bar on the lobby gives you a welcome drink =). The hotel was beautiful. I got a room for three and it was very spacious. It was just a couple blocks from the main markets and a couple blocks from the cafe area. Also, an easy walk to the beach so all in all an excellent location. Large, very comfortable rooms really appreciated after lots of travel and an amazon jungle trip (3 adults in the room) walking distance to beach,and main square, excellent meal at the restaurant, extremely helpful, friendly staff. Staff were friendly, and went out of their way to be helpful. Location is excellent just off the main square of Miraflores but without the noise from traffic. Rooms were clean and nice with a decent bathroom. Great value for money. exceptional service - takes care that the arrival and stay in Lima are comfortable. Great location to central Miraflores. Nothing disapointed us, but two points can be improved: 1) the breakfast could have more variety of food, specially cakes and breads. We spent four days and the breakfast was always the same. 2) there´s a little window in the bathroom, which is connected to another room. Because of this, our bathroom received a lot of someone´s inconvenient cigarrete smoke. The price of the taxi back to the airport was ridiculous but not the hotel's fault. distance from airport(depending on time of day 30-60 minutes). The pool is really much more of a dipping pond than a pool, and didn't look like it had been cleaned for a few days. The views from the rooms are pretty unattractive, but then again Lima isn't the prettiest. Trip to Airport - Lima has severe traffic problems. No spa of course for the price. Outdoor swimming pool is cold. Bath tub is so small and hot water is limited. Nothing Would happily stay here anytime I could. it does have a feeling of an old hotel and building, but considering the area, the service, the breakfast and the city, it was a great value. The room I ordered ( double with balcony) was not available. Nothing. Disco in the street out front til 6am on Friday night! Beds could have been a bit softer but that is a personal thing. My friend was quite happy with hers. Nothing negative. Swimming pool is a small pound with the chlorine water. 30 mins from city centre. 1. The size of room: The daily rate of a room suggests a spacious room but unfortunately the rooms are quite small. ('Ibis' size). 2. Blackout curtain: As standard, there is no blackout curtain but they installed one especially for me. 3. Noise: The rooms facing the back of the building suffer from noise from the industrial activity behind the hotel and the rooms facing the front suffer from a bit of nightlife activity noise in the weekend ( I found the latter more tolerable). The reception staff was kind a rude. On check out they brought an open bottle of beer saying that we have opened it and left in the minibar. What we never did. Manager decided that the bottle of beer is worth making a scandal. Very cheap. Single glazing - very noisy due to Lima's horrendous traffic. You can get extremely different rooms for the same price. The hotel and the rooms were kind of tired. The room was not cleaned on the next day. It was not possible to pay with credit cards (although we had four different credit cards). We asked for an early breakfast, and although they agreed to offer that, they actually were not prepared for that. We reserved a junior suite with 43 m2 and queen sized bed advertised but received a very small room with a very small bed which we immediately changed for a normal room (23 m2) with a decent double bed. On checking out they not only charged us for the more expensive Junior suite but they also charged the credit card in the local currency applying the worst possible exchange rate: we had to pay 20% more than what we had received at the airport for each dolar. no one is allowed to visit the room that a person rents.n Not a friendly place. To noise from outside! all night!. The reception amd restaurant stuff not freindly. Old tired hotel needing a makeover and upgrade. The staff didn't crack a smile, there was no hot eater in the evening for three nights in a row(?!), rooms open give to an atrium and it gets noisy very early in the morning, breakfast was OK but not memorable. The whole place needs on overhaul. I didn't think it was fabulous at all. - a bit noisy - sounds from lobby and reception (ringing phones) are audible in the room.

The swimming pool is seasonal, and is only available during certain months of the year. Please note that when booking more than 3 rooms, the first night will be charged seven days before the arrival date. Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. Please note both documents are required for fee exemption.
