Staff is very attentive, helped me alot with tourist information and booked me a Panamá Canal ride wich was amazing. Rooms are OK, clean and with balcony (i'd give it 3 stars). Taxi service at the front door is fairly priced. The hotel is dated but once I settled in it was comfortable. The staff was great and it was surely good value for the money. The restaurant food was very good for the price and I must say I would stay there again.

It can get a bit noisy sometimes, especially in lower floors. Prices a little high specially during the week. Old style furniture and decoration. Needs a facelift. Dont order a taxi from the reception/hotel - they are charging for very high sum!! Just stop one on the street!. Rooms needs improvement, old furniture needs to be replace. No sugarless syrup for pancakes. I couldn't turn off the ac & it was cold. - Small ants in the bed - bathroom a bit dated (dripping tap, joints in need to be refreshed) and rather small - AC - Dust (probably coming from the vent / AC) - Complimentary breakfast : ONLY buffet but they don't tell you that and give you the menu right away so it can be misleading... Obviously the buffet is not up to par with food à la carte, which is a shame. - Terrace didn't lock but fixed almost right away. - It's getting a bit too expensive for what's offered. Stark rooms Gaps in doors. Noise is unbearable. Way too outdated. Even musty. bathroom in our room was tiny and ugly. The internet did not work most of the time the breakfast was not the best. The room clearly needs updating. Internet slower than dial up. Room was marginal- no windows, just patio door. No hot water 2nd day-no apology or response to fix. Restaurant service and food very poor. The elevators clanged and room doors slammed to close, -shower filled with water. It was no what I was expecting, I booked on line and they wanted to charge me 115 instead of 75+ tax as advertised. Very old facilities, bathroom was horrid, and old..need a lot of improvement..not 4 stars as advertised..I will give it a mere 2 stars..taxi fares were too expensive because of the location. Construction sounds started in the hotel in the morning, we had to get up and switch rooms. ac is too loud, rooms are damp.
