The hotel is located close to the city center, central railway station, main pedestrian street, etc. The room we stayed was located at the building mansard (attic). It was suprisignly very spacious: two beds, coach, table and large bathroom. Breakfast was rich. I liked several sorts of salted, smoked and marinated fish most of all. There was free internet access in the room, although not very fast. There're electric kettle, cups and packets of teas, coffee, whitener and sugar inside the room.

Breakfast is very good, variuous and tasty, staff is helpful, rooms are clean with comfortable beds, TV and hair dryer. You can drink coffee and tea at the lobby all day. Hotel is located in Grönland - district when live many people from Asia and Africa, so it is a little surprising :). location is perfect, breakfast is very good and tasty, rooms are clean, personnel is very friendly and helpful. you can drink coffee and tea at the lobby while waiting or having a rest. The neighborhood is a little surprising (let's say the population is not very "norwegian", I had read about it before my trip but I wasn't expecting that) Anyway, the city is worth it, great visit!. We liked the staff (very nice and very patient), the room was really big and nice and we had our room cleaned everyday (even without asking for it). It was very close to the centre and to the train and bus stations. very nice and clean, comfortable (great bed!!! :) I loved the bathroom tiles heating even during the hot days is very pleasant. personnel is friendly and helpful and always with a smile. Absolutely in centre of Oslo, situated in a pedestrian zone, 20% discount on the high fee for the parking deck nearby, close to Central Station, excellent breakfast. We arrived earlier than expected but the front deck and cleaning staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and find a room. One cannot drive to the hotel because the street is pedestrian. There're two supermarket covered parkings nearby, but they were expensive and it was difficult to rich the hotel with all luggage in hands - one needs to go round the building. Brugata is very noisy street with lots of emigrant beggars. we don't have any complaints. we were wiht the noisy kids and we liked everything. Well, the price, but in the case of oslo i'd say that Thon hôtel is not that expensive compared to what I saw during my reasearches. Overwhole, Norway is an expensive country, but the visit is totally worth it. The street where the hotel is located doesn't seem very safe at night. location could be better. it's a bit uncomfortable to pass behind the oslo-s during the night. very noisy street, even at night; breakfast room was so crowded we barely found a table. The street where the hotel is located seemed a bit unsafe at first but then it turned out ok. Street is noisy at night. Was quite pricy, but Norway is expensive overall. It was extreamly warm in out room for all 4 nights. Noise from the street. Nothing. Size of the room : much too small. The AC wasn't working properly - certainly not good in Oslo when it's very hot - and it was at the moment of our visit. Hard to find. Windows without soundproofing, and in the area is very noisy late into the night. Some rooms are better than others. Ask for a new decorated room. Hotel located at emigrant street with lots of beggars around. The club somewhere nearby that was pounding out music until 2am - on a Wednesday evening!!. Hotel located in noisy location, its very noisy in the late evening.
