Best hotel in Oslo to stay with teenagers! Location is great, super convenient. Attached to the train station, 5 minutes walk to bus station. The hotel looks towards the city main shopping street and is a 5 minutes walk to the palace and main attractions in Oslo. Decoration was super modern, facilities seems to have been recently renovated with very modern style and unique pieces of furniture. Lobby area is very practical with direct access to the train station where many shops and dining .

Tram stop and metro is just outside the hotel and across the road is the main street - Karls Johan Gate. New modern hotel with interesting wall design inside the room. Extremely friendly and helpful staff at reception. Huge lounge area at reception to hang out. Great breakfast with wide spread of quality food. Felt secure with card activated lifts and after midnight main doors are locked from . Really everything! The rooms are small but very comfortable and what hotel does have large rooms in Europe. The beds are surprisingly comfortable! Centrally located and the young staff was excellent at every level. In particular Benjamin who was at the front desk for the late night shift was an immense pleasure to get to know. Attached to Central station in Oslo and exactly where you want to be to start your Oslo sight seeing. The hotel is situated in the central station, therefore in the city center. We had a room under the roof with two steps to the hotel room door and in total four steps in the room itself. That looks really nice. However it is not very comfortable with a suitcase. We like the breakfast with the possibility to sit "outside" in the station hall. The fitness room is small but nice situated over the reception and open 24 hours. The hotel is a part of the central train station, if you can't find it, you can just walk out the station and will find a white buiding on the left side with a hotel's logo. The hotel is facing the main shopping street, very convenient.The design of it is very modern and stylish, the lobby is a spacious and cozy coffee bar. Guest can get free coffee and hot tea there. The hotel was connected to the train station which was very convenient since we were arriving at 11pm at night. The staff was excellent! They gave us a great overview of Oslo and suggested the areas we should visit on a one day trip. They also offered umbrellas since it was raining. The room was very nice, although very small. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Hotel which is situated in the station building was clean had friendly staff and served an excellent breakfast. Their kitchen offered fresh fine food. Hotel was well located near public transport and city centre. The hotel reception area offered free coffee and tea all day long, as there was no t & c making machine in the hotel room. Only stayed one night because we were in transit to Iceland and needed a stop near the rail station. Have stayed in Oslo previously but not here. Very friendly staff, room was small and compact but clean and functional. Excellent restaurant onsite which is highly recommended. Excellent smorgasbord breakfast. Also has a gym. Friendly and secure staff. The location was extremely convenient for us. The bathroom (255) was very classy. comfortable shower and everything clean. Good bed. Good breakfast, and excellent job to have the dishes explained in English - for guests to be able to learn more about Norwegian and other food. This was indeed a pleasant surprise. We expected an average one night hotel. However we never expected such a fantastic room and the location could not be better. The buffet breakfast was spot on and we will definitely make this our hotel of choice the next time we visit Oslo. Location in Oslo S main railway station is perfect. Lots of space in trippel room. Breakfast was average. Busy so I needed to ask staff to refill. They did. Realy friendly staff at check in counter. Room is very small with hardly walking space. There's no kettle in the room although hot water and coffee is available at reception. Confusing structure with mezzanine levels - our room was on a mezzanine floor on the other side of the hotel and we had to take another lift at the end of the corridor or drag our luggage over a small flight of steps. I hate to even say this b/c most people won't even have to deal with this b/c they will arrive and leave by train but parking is non- existant. This is true everywhere in Oslo so this should not deter anyone, you should simply accept that you are in Europe and use mass transit or walk. It will be perfect if the breakfast time last longer (to 10am). The only disappointment concerning the hotel room was that we had no cupboard space and no fridge. We had to do with some pegs on the wall. Apart from that it was a modern and new room. We loved the view from our room, which overlooked the station square. Nothing - all good. I would like to point out, that the fridge behind the clerk in the front office / at the desk, does make a lot of noise and makes the atmosphere a bit less of value, it kind of "downgrades" the welcoming atmosphere. Nothing. Everything was great. We would had liked a little fridge and a room safe. But then again none of the hotels we stayed in Norway had them either. Stayed at the Comfort Hotel two times and the second time we were placed in a room (353, 354) with a slated roof which made the room feel a lot smaller, even though we had more square footage. Make sure to ask for a room in the same building as the reception hall. Also, take note that the gym is on the mezzanine overlooking the reception area so people may see you working out, though the ceilings are tall enough that one usually won't look up that far. Some of the graphics are a bit overdone, but that's a matter of preference and would probably appeal to a younger crowd. Our room did not have A/C, you need to open the windows if it gets hot, but then you get street noise. The only downsize is that it is located on the Oslo Central station. Although you don't hear any noise from the station, usually on the surroundings of a train station in any city you don't find the best people on the streets. Poor comfort in 3rd bed in room 202. We were there in the summer when it was very warm and not having an air conditioner the room was very hot especially since we were on the west side. A fan would have helped. No iron and board In the rooms. Although these were available elsewhere, this was not very convenient. lack of storage space for clothes - some (limited) hanging space but nowhere to unpack other clothes, so you do have to live out of your suitcase. OK for a night or two, but not good for longer. the light in the bathroom opens with the inductor, you cant leave a light in the bathroom while you're sleeping. Despite being in the station difficult to find by signposting. Nothing really to say here. If I was nitpicking, I would say: 1. Ran out of milk for the free coffee (not a big deal) 2. The staff could know a bit more re: location of some tourist sights, but they were keen to help with all enquiries. The shower glass needs to be a bit longer so as the water does not spill onto the floor. We missed a ice bucket. Confusing check-in area. Front desk doesn't look like a front desk. Layout of floors is odd, probably because it is an older building, but we had to take two different elevators and walk a long corridor between to get to our fourth floor room. None. No minibar or coffee making facilities in the room. Although there was free coffee and food and drink to buy in reception, my room was up two floors and along two long corridors so this wasn't very convenient. Hotel is decorated in a 'designer' style which might not be to everybody's taste. A little expensive for what it was, I think. The breakfast was poor and the restaurant was smelly all day long. Too warm -couldn't figure out how to make the room cooler except open the windows to the noises of the city. Breakfast ended too early so we couldn't sleep in. I didn't know this hotel has Asian Concept...(Due to I'm Asian, I prefer more Norwegian Style in Oslo.). Nothing to criticise!. The hotel should give some facilities like a safe in the room or slippers even after request. Some amenities in the bathroom could be nice. The bar behind the reception gives the feeling of being in a market, maybe they should change its location. Breakfast choices a bit limited. I did not very much appreciate prepayment upon arrival. The "quality" of the invoice was not very high - no description of what it is about, and although I stayed by myself, there was a mysterious Qty of 2 marked on the invoice. Hope our accounting accepts it.Arriving late with still some work to do, I would have appreciated room service. Although the information went to a great extent to describe how stupid minibars and room service are, they are handy sometimes in situations like this. Not much. breakfast service is rather poor, you are not allowed to take milk, salt etc to your table,. The room didn't have a fridge. Nothing to complain. Rooms very hot ( probably a real plus most of the time but in July it was hot in Oslo) Hotel is actually in front of old part of railway station but entrance difficult to find ( staff told me the management of the station prevented them from having better signage and they were working on getting this fixed). Absolutely nothing.
