Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was amazing with the hostel had great facilities. Breakfast was good. The view over Oslo was wonderful and the hostel was easy to get to from the city. A special thank you to the receptionist who changed our room for us. This was and excellent budget hostel for Oslo. The transport links to the centre were also very good. The rooms were comfy and clean and staff very helpful. And free parking which was ideal for us as we had driven from the uk.

Staff mostly very friendly and accommodating. Its located in a beautiful, calm enough place. You may relax in a backyard, to make barbecue and to cook in the kitchen :). Perfect if you travel by car - the parking is free :). We liked the fully equipped kitchen and wonderful breakfast. The place was nicely clean. It was not difficult to find the hotel - there were the signs and arrows everywhere. Good sized rooms. Beds okay. Clean and quiet. Breakfast had few choices and they had no fried eggs and sausages :). the metro station was a little far from the hotel. check-out before 10 at the morning. Hard to find first time, not very close to the metro station, you must climb a hill :-) Huge price for a hostel, but Oslo is expensive. The wifi is working but very poor signal in our room... And no towells and no linens... The booking with letsbookhotel.com had not registered with the youth hostel at all- although we had the print-out and everything was in order! It was a busy time at Haraldsheim and they managed to find us a tiny room near the bathrooms! What went wrong, Booking. com?. bit far from downtown. far from city center. Nice place. Hot room. Unfriendly stuff, incorrect info about hotel on booking. Issues with getting hot water. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn'T. Front end staff tried to help, but maintenance didn't respond all that well. Entire property looks a little tired and in need of refurbishing. Lots of Eastern European tour groups, which is fine, however having been to several countries in that region, this place must have seemed like a 4 star hotel. small room for 4 persons, very poor pillows. No warm water in bathroom. No internet in room. Towels bedsheet and soap not available in the room (charged separately).
