The staff were extremely helpful and friendly from the moment that the booking was made. They were very welcoming and helpful when we arrived and made us feel very welcome with our children aged 3, 2 and 1. The rooms are a good size and very clean. The hotel is located centrally and close to the National Theatre (walk down 2 blocks), Central Station (3 stops on Tram #18), Harbour (Radhus is 5 min walk). Light Evening Meal is good and not just 'light'. Breakfast spread is good and they server you hot fried eggs. Recommended for family. You can buy Oslo Pass from the hotel. A number of eating joints close by.Friendly helpful staff, food very good, convenient central location, quiet and comfortable room. Location in the center of Oslo, large room, tasty food, the possibility of extra bed. Confortable bed and free wifi. Very nice. The organic food for breakfast was brilliant and it made me feel good about the hotel.Very nice that evening snacks are included in the price. The location ia excellent. The staff at the reception was very helpful.Level 5 The loft facilities. The lift was out of order. No fun when u stay on the fourth floor.The breakfast staff was slow.Single bed a little small...not used to that. The fact that neither the Bar nor the restaurant opened until 6pm. No room for the guests to entertain themselves and their guests before that time.Unfortunately there was a lot of noise and people in the corridor in the middle of the night / early in the morning. Loud talking / slammimg doors. bathroom too small. Unfortunate that the lift was being renovated, however it didn't spoil the stay. no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The evening light dinner was of a very poor standard.There was little choice and little quantity compared to the Clarion Gabelshus where we stayed two weeks ago.Also at breakfast on the Sunday a coach party filled the restaurant and we waited thirty minutes for a table and then had to clean it as there were only two staff who were overwhelmed. There was quite a lot of noise coming from the street to hotel(i.e. drunk people on friday night). This ofcourse is natural for friday night but if measures to make hotel more silent can be made then it would be good.
More fresh vegetables would be nice to have as part of the breakfast.The single room is very small. Suitable for persons who do not spend much time in the room and who travel light (no cupboard, no shelves). Walking up 5 flights of stairs every time i went to my room.Lift being replaced.constant problems with elevelor; difficult parking.
