  It was far enough away from the center of Haarlem for privacy but close enough to walk to. I liked the breakfast bonus of being included in the hotel rate. Their breakfast is 20 Euros extra and being included made the stay a real value. - Our stay was very pleasant. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable. Beverages were a nice touch.   The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was really clean and comfortable with a great bathroom. We found it very easy to get to Amsterdam from here as it was near the train station and the trains came frequently. - The service was excellent, as was the location and convenience.   This was the most comfortable hostel I stayed in during my travels. In a very cute city away from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam, but just a 10 min walk + 15 min train ride to visit Amsterdam. I highly recommend taking the 15min bus ride to Bloomingdale beach! I would compair Bloomingdale beach in July to beaches I go to in San Diago Califo... what people say » rnia. If you need a vacation from your backpacking vacation, than this is the perfect hostel for you. - The hostel was located in a quiet corner of town, and is a very charming place. The rooms (I had a shared dorm) were very clean and comfortable. The staff too was very friendly and helpful. Lastly, Haarlem is a lovely place. There are many things to be seen while walking around.
