Being an apartment situation, we never did meet the staff so can't comment; however, they were certainly accessible by the room phone. We can not say enough good things about our studio apt. The bed was comfortable, the kitchenette well supplied, the bathroom beautiful. It was perfect - the heated bathroom floor was a nice touch!. This was the best hotel we had ever stayed in,it was like a dream.Excellent value for money,excellent cleanliness,great staff.Overall Fabulous experience.We wont stay anywhere else in Amsterdam!!!. all reviews »
It was just excellent. Highly recommended for families with young children! Location great, appartment very clean and very well equipped. We will stay again!. I thought the apartment was excellent, by far the best apartment I`ve ever stayed in on holiday anywhere. The rate was very good by Amsterdam standards.Good location, well equipped and comfortable, There was hardly any wishleft open. Good location. The street was calm and residential; Close to the museums. the appartement was fully furnished very well decorated and clean (even though the sheets were a bit dusty, but still everything else was very clean). the bathroom (especially the shower) was really nice plus unlike all other hotels in amsterdam there was an elevator and it was spacy, the internet was working in the room and there was two plasma TVs in with cable!. Very close to most important museums, good connection to public transport. Large, comfortable and clean rooms. Fully equipped kitchen. The location was great, nice neighborhood and great access to public transportation. The checkin/checkout was very well organized. fantastic room, modern, clean great facilities. we will use this hotel again!. Trust to the guests from hotel's site and maximum confidenciality. Very clean, easy to excess every facilities. Awesome!. Although there is no staff on-site (you communicate by intercom and/or phone with the reception desk of the hotel, which is on the other side of town), service was reactive.
Apartment was comfortable and well-appointed, and very clean. Extremely modern, clean apartment. Very good neighbourhood with good access to city centre. Close to supermarket, good restaurent. Kitchen is fully equipped and modern bathroom. Cleaned daily. We would strongly recommend this apartment. Quiet. Elevator was great. Nice to have a washing machine downstairs. Wireless internet worked great. Pack and play was nice for the baby. Location near museums was good and nearby several trolley lines. Good shower. design and comfort of the studio, free wifi, good choice of tv programs with movies in english, well-equipped kitchen, very good location in a nice district between Vondel park and Museumplein. Apartments were clean, modern with good facilities. The location was good as we were close to museumplein and leidsplein and only a short tram journey from central station. The region, the cosy atmosphere, the room,the facilities. Central South, calm, nice, clean. Friendly helpful staff. Great location. In some respects it is a bit far away, but trams are closeby, and the apt is just a 10-minute walk to the Museumplein.Everything was perfect. the fact that we had to go and pay at the hotel near dam square and not in the appartements (we paid in cash, for those who are paying by credit card this is not an issue).2nd day was not garbege taken away and we would appreciate the manual for usign the lectrical equipment of the apartment. Near Hotel, there are instruction works. Therefore, taxi did not coming in front of apartment.Because there is no staff on-site, you do not get a warm welcome, nor can you expect much in the way of information about the area etcetera.
Becaues apartment was in basement, there was a clear lack of daylight. The reception is not on site. The double bed had two single matresses and the pillows were not comfortable. Microwave oven was not clean but we did not have to use it.No soap was provided for washing dishes by hand. No hair dryer was available. Washing machine was nice, but there was no way to get detergent for a single load and no dryer. The refrigerator buzzed whenever it was opened and there is no door between living/dining/kitchen room and bedroom so it wakes everyone up. heating system was not working perfectly (nevertheless it wasn't cold). We booked a double bed apartment but as often happens with European accommodation the bed consisted of two twin mattresses pushed together with two single quilts. The cleanlyness of the sheets and the towels - the looked dirty. The Entry key on the Check In day was left on the arrival, but it did not work, I had to stand waiting in cold for 45 minutes, after 4 calls somebody arrived and helped, at a cost of 10-GBP.

by car
On the Ring A10, take the exit for OUD ZUID (no 108). Follow the signs four OUD ZUID. Drive along the Amstelveenseweg. At the first roundabout, take the second exit off. This is the Cornelis Krusemanstraat, which turns into De Lairessestraat. Follow this road all the way to Museumplein. From there, make a right turn and take the 2nd street to your right (Nicolaas Maesstraat). You will find no.72 on your right after 100 metres. Parking is available in the underground car park at Museumplein.
