The location of the hotel was really close to all the hotspots within Amsterdam! The breakfast was simple but it was great for the money and it filled you up and got you going for the rest of the day. The toilets and shower were clean the majority of the time minus a few when it had just been used! And the beds were very comfy. If it got too hot the air con could be used too which was very good. In my opinion for the money it was a great place to stay when visiting Amsterdam!.
all reviews » Staff were always friendly and happy to help with anything. Wifi was available in the room and the breakfast was always good. The room and all the toilets and showers were extremely clean. I was a little worried about shared showers but caused no issues at all. This couldn't be better located, 5 mins from central station, shop right outside, restaurants close by and bike rentals available right outside. 10 out of 10. The location was perfect - close to central station and to the center and other spot u can get very easily. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. The was free wi-fi. Also you can get tea/coffee anytime for normal charge. The room was ok, not very small. Everything was clean. Also great value for money. In that range of hotels i think this one is really nice one especially for that amount of money. Everything was alright. Location is great. Is in the middle of everything. Close to every meeting point or main atraction, if not, bicycle solves it. Very complete breakfast, wifi everywhere, beds and rooms clean. Lockers with electronic lock. Showers and toillets cleaned constantly. Music in the public area -not that loud-, enough big to get to meet other people. I would defenetely come back here. The staff was very helpful, we arrived early and they offered to store our bags behind the counter so we could see the city. The luggage room was completely full and we couldn't squeeze ours in. We had only booked the room the night before and we were given a very nice room on the top floor that had a balcony. This added more space to our tiny room, as Amsterdam in general is very tight on space. Very helpful and nice staff. They provide very useful information about almost everything in the lobby and you can easily find discount information there. Our room is right above "red light ladies", it was kinda unusual experience. The location is perfect to travel around the city. Only ten minutes away from the central station, which is quite convenient. Perfect hotel for the money. Nice working lockers for each person in the 6 dorm, very neat and clean. Looks like it's been recently renovated. Also, surprisingly decent breakfast for the money. Not much of a selection, but everything of very good quality - this is actually an excellent start of the day. it has really great location - only 7 minutes from Amsterdam Centraal. rooms are big and comfortable. I like big lockers with digital code. breakfast wasn't really various, but good for hostels and quite enough. If I ever will be in Amsterdam I'll definitely stay there again)). Inspite of the hostel was fully booked, the toilets were always clean. They are by the way two on the floor, and two shower rooms on the floor, but i never faced a queue. Hostel is clean, there r lockers. Location perfect and quite safe. The AC helped a lot. Friendly staff, good wifi service, good breakfast, with a fair price and you can get there walking less than 10min from the central station. The area might get a little bit tough at night, but overall it was safe. Although near the station it wasn't easy to find the hotel. The road layout we found a little confusing. We would have liked to be able to make an outside call using the hotel line as we were meeting up with Dutch friends. Mobiles are more expensive!. It's not really a problem, but the elevator only takes 3 persons per time and the breakfast is the same every day. Only that we couldn't stay there the next two nights because there were booked up. Amsterdam!. Room doors weren't closing properly and due to the wind they made quite some noise. Wi-Fi wasn't working very well, but maybe that was also due to bad weather. My room was in the back building, the road was dark and I didn't feel safe at night. Also the room was very noisey and I could hear when each person came in and out of the building as the doors slammed. nothing in particular, as a hostel, it is perfect. It's not the hostel's fault, but anyway it's a hostel in central Amserdam - your quiet sleep is not guaranteed by other guests...... just wireless signal is not working good. nothin. Was told when I booked that we can pay cash on arrival. Two days before arriving was told either pay by Credit Card now or they will cancel. Not happy at all as they confirmed by email I could pay on arrival and no card details were needed. NOT HAPPY 2 DAYS BEFORE TO BE TOLD THAT!. only two plugs in a 6 shared dormitory, which was a little inconvenient. shared floor bathroom, however one must admit that most of the time they were clean, and i never had to wait. our room was badly located in a noisy part of the hotel. very loud and you hear everything from outside. Wifi didn't work on the upper floors, only accessiable at the reception area. The narrow stairs to the room in the back building. The room felt stuffy at times and almost no natural light came through the window. No negatives at all good hotel. Couldn't connect my mobile device to wi-fi for some reason. the shower was a bit small. Good !. Having to share toilet and shower facilities with the rest of the floor. To Pay for access to internet on the desktops there while wifi is free. None actually.
