The place is located in the middle of the new town of Ben Haddou like most of the hotels there. Location is fine. Short walk to the old ruins and the old structures of Ait Ben Haddou. Breakfast is the same as everywhere in Morocco. Amazingly though it is okay to have every morning, the Moroccan pancakes are real nice. Room was clean, shower was warm and stayed warm as long as we wanted. Room was warm. The balcony is really spacious, we went there in the night to see the starry sky.
all reviews » After a long journey on the road, we got to Kasbah Valentine to find an oasis! The friendly staff that also speaks French, the spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated room, the perfect dinner (the cook is fantastic and we had one of the best meals in Morocco! Genuine Moroccan food.) and breakfast, everything was perfect. Kasbah Valentines location and the parking facilities just add more points. An extremely pleasant place to stay!. We had a fabulous time at this guest house. Zaid and his wife were really excellent hosts. The room was lovely and very comfortable as was the rest of the guesthouse. But the best thing was the food! The breakfast was huge and delicious and the evening meals were the best food we had in our whole three weeks in Morocco. Just fabulous. Thank you Zaid and Fatima!. An oasis of tranquility, especially if arriving from the busy markets of Marrakech. The hotel is very cozy, the rooms clean, and the owner Zaid laid-back and very accommodating. We highly recommend ordering a dinner there (there aren't many restaurants in Aït Benhaddou), as the home- made couscous and tagine were by far the best we've had in Morocco. The hotel has a wonderful terrace over the rooftop which allows you to have breakfast gazing over the ruins of Ait Ben Haddou. It's amazing. The location of this hotel was great as it was very close to the site we wanted to visit in Ait Ben Haddou and was very clean. There was also ample parking for cars. Welcome tea and breakfast on rooftop terrace with view on ancient kasbahs of ait ben haddou. Hotel accomodation rather basic but ok. Rooms clean. Owner gaves us better room upon arrival. Nice breakfast on terrace. Maybe we caught the host at a bad day but we did not feel much interest from the host. It was a bit like staying in an un-personal normal hotel in that way. The internet comes in the form of a computer that is located behind the reception counter. It did not work well so them manager took us to another hotel and café where they had free WiFi. Unfortunately it was nothing super, just an okay place. Nothing really, everything was perfect. No down-side. Value for money: a bit more expensive than the other riads we stayed in during our holliday and the rooms weren't much nicer or bigger. However, it's possible that the location (ait-benhaddou) is an important factor here. Not possible to stay out late: owner friendly requested us to be back around 22:00. Nothing. As in a lot of places in Morocco the matress is kinda hard but still had a good night of sleep ;-). nothing in particular. Nothing. Nothing. owner was a bit nervous. Shower. The reception could have been warmer. extremely poor.
