This was our favourite stop on our trip, we stayed for two nights but would have happily stayed longer. Bagdad cafe is set against the gorgeous backdrop of the UNESCO World Heritage site: Ait Ben Haddou. It is a boutique hotel with only six rooms and a swimming pool run by a fabulous and welcoming family. Our room was very comfortable with a king size bed and decent bathroom. all reviews » We loved this hotel/hostel and it was a perfect place to stay for the one night we were there in order to see Ait Ben Haddou in the morning. Rose and her husband (and lovely kids - take them Haribo sweets as they can't get them in the area) couldn't have been more welcoming and we had one of the best meals in their restaurant of our entire 3 week trip around Morocco!! Mohammed is very friendly, he has very good advice and makes you feel like you're at home. The food is also very nice, we wanted to eat an icecream, so he went looking for one in the village, especially for us! The room was clean, had aircon and a nice bed. The pool was big and clean. The thing I liked the most was having an egg for breakfast!. Excellent location; just around the corner is Ait Benhaddou. Bed and bathroom are a unique space divided only by an half wall (although everything is very well refined). Nothing. The tourism tax of Ait Benhaddou is not included within the price. We liked everything. No disappointments. At the centre of the double bed was a big hole, because it were two beds in fact. need to pay tax €2 as extra. The development work do not hurt us but it would need to be finished before the next tourist season.
