The hotel is fabulously old. With portraits and paintings in the lobby from years gone by. I love the old-world charm of the Spanish colonial building. The staff at check in was great, and was always willing to answer our questions. Great atmosphere, lots of character. Staff very helpful, we just didn't like the rooms offered. Wonderful location although the front rooms on the Plaza would be noisy.
