I enjoyed my time in this hostel a lot. The guys that run it were super friendly and helpful. When I stayed there, the place was quiet even though there were many visitors. Everyone was respectful and I had no problems with noise. The hostels gets 5 stars from me and if I could rate Fernando (a person who runs this hostel), he would get 6 stars for his kindness!---Thanks, Mariya. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Simple but clear and comfortable room. Good shower. Breakfast simple - unlimited toast with jam and coffee. Wifi decent signal in room. Handy to town and bus station, but obviously not for you if you are in cancun for the beach. Nice market with great street food nearby.

Good location, right in the center and 30sec walk from the main square where there is always something going on. Dorm rooms were good for budget and private room was great for value!. The hotel staff were super friendly! We had a simple double room with A/C, fan, and private bath for $38. Comes with a basic breakfast too. Good value for a basic accommodations. the staff is very kind and they can help you to find things to do around the city ! the hostel is very well located downtown, near many markets, parks and ADO bus station. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a more local location and how close it was to everything. Would stay here again. Good location, good value for money, good wifi, very friendly welcome by the man at the reception. Of course it's all basic. Employees are very helpful. Very close to parque das palapas. Breakfast was basic, but can't complain given the price!. the beds in the dormitory have metal spring mattress and are not top comfort, but still its not too bad. there is only one bathroom for the dormitory and often there is a line-up. Room was really hot to sleep in at night. It is showing its age. Curtains dont block ligth. Very poor breakfast. Very plain breakfasr. Close to a loud hostel, shower had problems with the hot water sometimes. The noise from another hostel, in the night.. The shower has no pressure and delays to get hot. The double room is located outside the gate of the hostal, which is permanently locked. This gives a sensation of insecurity. The courtains do not block the lights at night. We have stayed 2 times (2 days at the begin and 1 day the end of the trip) and our first room was not so good as the second.The second room was from picture on letsbookhotel.com and that is room number 1. Other room was very bad (old facilities, near dinning room). It is a basic hostel. The bed sheets were dirty and there is not much to do. Very, very, very, very basic hostel. A few simple things (like a shelf in the bathroom or a second taste of jam) could make life better. The dormitory downstairs was ok for 2-3 people, but at full capacity it could be difficult to handle. Still value for money though. Another thing is that everything in Cancun (beach, parties, excursions) happens at the hotel zone, so being far from there (although its a 15-min, 10 pesos bus ride), isolates you a bit.
