The hospitality given is excellent. The management really takes care of the guests staying there and it is like a family staying under one roof. In fact, this is our first time staying in a hotel like this. We got a chance to cook seafood according to our taste as the hotel is just opposite the market. Very pleasant stay and a memorable one. Satisfying bath as the water pressure is good. The beach is just near and sitting around the hotel is really relaxing.

I stayed in a double room with private bathroom. The room had a window (not so obvious in Malaysia) and was quiet in the night. The room and the bathroom were clean, aircon was working. My family and I arrived in Sandakan in the late afternoon with no accommodation reservation. I was concerned with finding a reasonably priced place meeting our normal demands being clean, safe and in a good location. After checking out 6 different options I cam across the Sea View and was immediately welcomed with a big smile by Nasif at the desk. I returned to collect my family who was waiting at a local restaurant informing them we've found our place. Our decision was not only based on our ne. It is near the shopping malls, ATMs and various local eateries. It also has its own cafeteria which is just downstairs, but you have to be prepared to wait for a while for your food to arrive. maybe the city noises but it is a part of the trip when u r traveling in those kind of country. I had troubles with the water heater in bathroom. It seems it was turned on (it was buzzing loudly) yet water was still cold. Breakfast included in the room price is very small, but it's common in budget hotels in Malaysia. It isn't facing the sea and there certainly wasn't any greeneries surrounding it. It can get noisy at night on the streets (it's just beside the road) and opposite the Sandakan Central Market.
