1. I like the uniform wore by the staffs. It really represents the Melayu concept, which is in line with the style of the hotel. 2. The check in process did not take long time. The room had been ready as we arrived at the hotel, so we did not have to wait anymore. 3. The staffs are very friendly. Everytime there is customer comes into the hotel, they welcome us by saying salam (assalamualaikum) or "good morning", "good evening", etc. That makes me feel home. 4. I like the cleanness of the room .
all reviews » Excellent location. 2 minutes walk to the elevated walkway which connects Pavilion Mall to Petronas towers and KLCC. The back exit from hotel connects to Bukit Bintang. Side exit connects into Karyaneka. Breakfast is excellent. We got upgraded to 10th floor royale club room which had great views of Petronas towers. Rooms are luxury comfortable, beautifully furnished. Wide choice of food in the hotel and in the nearby Pavilion Mall. Concierge helped us with booking for day tours to Elephant San. This is a fantastic hotel, in a brilliant location! The staff were wonderful and so were the rooms! Not only did we get an early check-in and late check-out at no extra charge, but we also got a free upgrade to a royale club room! The pool area was lovely - big pool and plenty of beds and towels. The pavilion plaza was a 2 minute walk and was teeming with lovely restaurants and bars (plus shops!). From the plaza there's a covered walkway into klcc - although taxis were cheap and plentiful. Absolutely majestic luxurious hotel. Stunning interior design. Immaculately clean. Fantastic facilities. Food choices extensive and value for money. Staff very pleasant and extremely efficient. We were upgraded to an executive suite as our premier room wasn't ready, even though we had arrived early, as our flight was in the evening we were given a late check out time, making our last day more relaxing. I cant say enough to praise this Hotel and would recommend it to anyone. I am from KL but just stayed here with mom as she had an early appointment at Prince Court Medical Centre nearby and we wanted to avoid the stress of travelling in the traffic jam early in the morning! I am very impressed with the hotel. The room was massive, a balcony with good view of KLCC. The bathroom was huge. The food was great. Definitely will come back to stay here with my husband just for relaxation!. Great service and hospitality provided by all staff. I requested for late check out, no problem. I asked for razor, no problem. Asked for directions to Pavilion, got it (but not the short cut I was expecting to use). In the commercial centrum of the city, and close to malls as Pavillion or the Petronas Towers/Congress Center.Good restaurants (when not closed for private parties...) and marvellous breakfast;Nice swimming pool , large and very clean rooms....Clearly a must for people looking for nice places at a good rate!. For the five stars hotel like Royale Chulan, it should not happen. Please pay attention to this issue. 2. The choice of food in the restaurant and bar service (delivery order to room) was very limited. Please provide more choices. The cleaners did not clean the room for first two days properly - only did the beds. After we complained to housekeeping, it was sorted out and we did not have any problems for rest of our stay. There is a very convenient short cut into Bukit Bintang and Pavilion mall through back exit but nobody told us that. We found out through parking attendant by chance. It's only a small gripe, but the bar service at the pool needs to be improved! If you ordered anything more than a beer, coke or water the guy had to ring through to the main hotel and then had to disappear off to get it! While he was gone there was no service at all!. I could not find any house phones. Nothing every thing was great!. No negatives at all. Tours organised by the hotel were expensive - easier to go by yourself by public transport or taxi. Breakfast buffet very good but a bit expensive for a family - there are plenty of local breakfast bars open in nearby shopping centre or under Petronas Towers (Chinoz was our favourite). Hotel charges extra for taxi to the airport. We heard from the taxi driver he had to pay the hotel 20 rm for the pick up. Next time we'll call a taxi ourselves. Road to the hotel always congested in the evening. hotel does not have a transfer or pick up from airport you have to make you way there/back. Increased crime in the neighborhood surprised. Nothing to not like. Could not find fault in any aspect. The fitness was, as with every hotel, only cardio. There is a pretty good gym at the basement of the Petronas Towers. I sent an email about a package that I thought I left there and they haven't bothered to get back to me, I'm quite disappointed. Nothing at all!. The payment mode is very confusing. Initially they need crdit card to hold our payment when check out they need the same credit card to get the payment. If that the case they should not take our deposit. The room is great but so many ants especially when u place ur food on the table. They don't have many recreations like pool and tennis table the swimming pool closed at 20.00 very early. The BBQ buffet. The range of food available was amazing but the 3 BBQ chefs were incapable of producing a plate of hot food. Some was cold, some undercooked and some overlooked. Maybe just an off night. Otherwise the food was good. The attitude of the so called concierge who is actually the middle men between costumer and housekeeping. He showed anoyed when i asked him to make a phonecall in Malay language to arrange transport to the airport. This is the only bad experience i encountered in this hotel. The other members of the staff were really friendly and accommodating. The hotel is a bit outdated and the reception employees were not that helpful . Bell boys will try to rip you off over charging you for a taxi they call in front of the hotel so you are better off getting one from a side street close to it . It's about a ten minute walk to shopping so if you want somewhere in the heart of Bukit Bintang it might not suit. - We checked in late in the night but no on there to support us with our baggage !. They could probably open a small 24hr cafe for people to lounge since its quite a fair walk to the nearest shopping centre which is the Pavillion. مكانه قريب من شارع العرب لكن موقع الماريوت والميلينيوم افضل منه. عندهم زرين عند الباب واحد "عدم الازعاج" والثاني "الغرفة جاهزة للتنظيف " للاسف مره نسينا زر عدم الازعاج شغال ولما رجعنا لقينا الغرفة غير نظيفة. الافطار عادي وهذا طبيعي في ماليزيا. انا افضل تاخذ الغرفة بدون افطار اذا كان فيه توفير واشتر فطورك من البقالة . Staff were a little under-trained - we tried to order a pizza by the pool (that was not on the pool menu, but was on the room menu which all comes from the same kitchen) - it was quite an experience!. 1.Reception staff are not trained well .They did not give much attention neither they greeted me upon arrival and they gave wrong direction to my room. 2.swimming pool was only partially open due to renovation and there was much noise coming from adjacent construction work. Nothing. Rooms were a little out of date and not as luxurious as the lobby, AC was very noisy when turned up loud enough to cool the room at night. Tea and coffee making facilities were very basic with powdered coffee whitener. Mini bar was practically empty. The food for arabic customer is not good. Could perhaps be a little more English breakfast items. Housekeeping staff need to work on details. It seems there is change in housekeeping staff from year 2011. Door men some of them are disturbing. the keep follow you at the door.
