I stayed in Irsia Bed and Breakfast with 2 of my friends who are first time going abroad. The location is really near to Monorail Imbi. The staff is helpful and kind, they also welcome us even we're late to check in (23.30). I've visited KL more than 5th times, and so far, Irsia BnB is the best one. I'm very recommend this Hostel not only about budget-friendly but also the cleanliness and comortable to stay. Regards.
all reviews » Place is very close to drop off point of bus from Singapore. Staff is very considerate and accommodate us even beyond the check in time. We arrived at 4 AM and stay until 7 AM of the following day and still charged for a price of one day. Very convenient, free breakfast, reasonable rate, near Berjaya Times Square and Monorail. They even sell HOHO ticket. Highly recommended for guest coming from Singapore by bus. The staff is friendly and helpful, everybody speaks perfect English. I came to early in the morning but I still was allowed to get breakfast. The hostel is very close to the Singapore bus drop-off point. Shopping area is 5 minutes away, metro is 2 minutes away, city-tour bus stop 10 minutes walk, so the location is very good. good location. The stuff are Iraian，the girl is really really beautiful !!! You shoud know that if you check out after 12pm, you should pay half of the room charge, after 4pm ,its the whole day charge. i didn' t know the roles before,so i pay half of it. The stuff boy is really nice to explain me about it . Got to check in early at no extra charge. Room was clean with large fan which was great. Place is basic but clean. Breakfast was tea & coffee, toast and cereal. Location was brilliant right next to times square. Monorail stop was just a 2 minute walk away. The The position near the irbi monorail station, 40 mins walking distance from petronas tower, 10 mins from bukit bintang, everything is near by the accomodation, the staff friendly and polite always ready to give you the right advice about the city. I stayed for one night, the hotel wasn't for me, its really for budget-travelers and backpackers. The staff was really helpful and friendly. My double room has no window. It might be ok as it does not let noise in but I would not stay like that for more then 2 nights. The breakfast is poor even for a hostel. breakfast is simple. No free cold water . The toilet/shower (all together in the same room) a bit too small but for a few days of stay is something you can pass by. The only downside was the bed we got was very uncomfortable meaning it was very difficult to sleep. Guest must wash the plate and glass by ourself. And there is no room with inside bathroom. The aircon temperature also can't be adjust. Not sure what it was, I stayed in the dorm with the American flag on the door and the room had a bad smell in it. Nothing. the bed squeaked. Very small and windowless rooms. Also they do not give you a remote for the air con - it is kept on one temperature and it can get very warm in the rooms. This is fine if you are staying short term and don't intend to spend much time in your room. Wifi speed low but stable. Not much to say: Would be cool (as so often in Asia) to have one of the toilets without a shower in it - toilets always wet. Nothing. I'm not picky so all good! Don't go there expecting a 5 start resort because it's not. But for a backpcker hostel, you probably wouldn't find better. no separate room for luggage storage. 1 Time toilet paper ran out but that wasn't really a problem. Bunk beds made some noise and no window in the dormitory. Nothing!!. Twin room no aircond & no window !. The pillows are of different heights, causing stiff necks in the morning. Took a cut of taxi fare to airport, better to get a taxi outside the shopping centre. Bed bugs. 2:30 a.m on Wed, I was awakened by the smell of chemicals to kill the rat in the city. I don't know that it is regular schedule or not. It's horrible, like toxic. Till 4 a.m the smell's gone. Breakfast: no real milk. toilets :(. the location of the shower. The aircon was on a fixed temperature and could not be adjusted which meant the room was sometimes very hot and stuffy. The fan in our room was very shaky and needed a few whacks to get going. The shared bathroom shower and toilet was not always bug free either. Cannot complaint with this price. - we didn't like the area much (personal taste and not the fault of the hostel!) - bed was a bit uncomfortable - shared bathroom. Finding the hotel without an Internet connection was a bad experience. Toilet is not so clean. towel dirty. all looks good.. Rooms are very small and just a mattress on the floor. Walls are so thin you can hear every conversation in the hotel. Bad air in the hostel at night. Very noisy. The "breakfast" is roasted bread.
