Fantastic hotel in a fantastic location. Staff were brilliant and very helpful. With a young baby we had a few requests, and the staff went to a lot of trouble to help. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very helpful. If I were to travel back to Vianden I would not stay anywhere else. The food was great. Very accomodating.Beautiful room and great location. We have already recommended this hotel and Luxembourg.

The environment-friendly Hotel Petry is situated in the center of Vianden with its sunny terrace with children´s playground and private car parc. 2/3 of our hotel was built in 2000. A cosy, gently renovated à la carte restaurant with a gastronomic and seasonal cuisine, a well-known pizzeria with wood-fired oven and a new beautiful breakfast restaurant invite you to a pleasant stay.

Hotel information details

Hotel Petry is a ecology hotel; the toilets are flushed with rain water, heat exchangers and advanced isolation enable low-energy heating and cooling with the new part built 2000-2001. Now we dispose over 20 new comfort and luxury rooms.

We offer to our guests two gastronomical restaurants and a Pizzeria on wood fire oven and we have a large sunny terrace outside. We also dispose of a Slender-You-Program, Wellness-Center with sauna, steam bath and massage-shower, solarium and a modern fitness-Center (additional costs).

Important information to guests

During your stay you can benefit from free access to the fitness centre, swimming pool and wellness centre of the nearby hotel Belle-Vue, 100 metres away. A solarium is also available for an extra fee. Please note that the property requires payment upon check-in. For any cancellations made 7 days or more prior to arrival, the accommodation will charge EUR 12 administration costs.

Information about the area

Vianden, the pearl of the Grand-Duchy. A medieval town with it´s town wall and well-known castle, Trinitarian church and cloisters, the only chair lift in Luxembourg, a beautiful heated open air pool, tennis fields, the house of Victor Hugo, different museums and Europeans largest hydro-electric power station with barrage and upper-lake.The hotel is located in the center of the small city yet the forest in no more than 200 meters away. A children's playground and the sunny terrace.
Take a trip through the "Our" nature reserve, discover the environs by well maintained tracks, offering spectacular panoramic views. Varied fauna and flora in the wide forests and narrow valleys.
The area is great for motorcycle tours.

Situated between Echternach (30 km) and Clervaux (28 km), Vianden is the perfect place from where to take a trip to Luxemburg-City (45 km, old town with town wall), to the Moselle (50 km, visit of wine cellars & butterfly garden), Trier (65 km, old roman town 2000 years). Take a bike tour to Echternach along little Switzerland. Touringbikes are available in our hotel.
