My partner stayed her for only one night but it was great! We had room number 4 which was beautiful. The whole place has so much character. The bed was comfy and the service was excellent. We ate dinner at the restaurant downstairs, and had the best and biggest steak we've ever had. It's also only about a 5 minute walk from the castle. And maybe 25 minutes walk to the "Indian Forest" where you can zipline and climb through the forest trees. Breakfast was nice too. If you are going to stay in V.
all reviews » Ideal location in picturesque town of Vianden. Rooms had a rustic charm, but clean with modern, private bathrooms. The food downstairs at Beim Hunn was delicious, with huge portions & attentive wait staff. A delightful stop in northern Luxembourg!. The town was the most beautiful on our trip. The hotel has been restored beautifully to modern standards and the staff are very welcoming and attentive. The food is excellent in the restaurant downstairs. This place is a 'must stay'! I would recommend a wedding party or other event as the owners/operators are very friendly and helpful. This UNESCO listed building was recently redone and beautiful. Great hotel close to the château, adventure park and cafes. The hotel is 330 years old and has a great blend of old and new. The restaurant is fantastic with food cooked over an open fire. Very attractive and welcoming establishment. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and willing to help. The food was fantastic. The location of the hotel, and the huge steaks they serve. The food, staff, location were all great. The town and restauarants. Friendly staff. Only minor point that it was not particularly warm when we visited but the rooms were incredibly hot. Leaving the window open does little to relieve this and introduced LOTS of traffic noise from vehicles accelerating up the hill or speeding down it during the 'night time racers' out for a moutain drive. So if you are a light sleeper or can't handle heat then this might be a problem for you. Perhaps asking for a rear facing room would help with the noise but then there will be little view. Nothing to dislike. We could hear everything from the next bedroom. Nothing bad enough to complain about. Well, the walls were kind of thin... No private parking. Very poor welcome and the member of staff remained hostile throughout our stay. Our room was visually stunning but impractical and lacked comfort. Dinner was very over priced and the breakfast was poor.
