We usually travel staying at B&Bs, loving their intimate feeling and warm conversations with the locals. However, failing in founding a suitable such place in Luxembourg, we decided to go for the appealing offer of the Park Inn. We now have only praise words for the experience. The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes (under 5 minutes walk from the train station – please look closely to the beautiful building of the train station!). all reviews » Everything! The location, the staff, the breakfast, the service, the room! To start with, the hotel was very well designed and clean. Our room was on the last floor with a magnificent view to the entire city. It was fully equipped, very clean, and spacious. There was also a water boiler and a couple of free coffee and tee bags in the room. The service was also great. We wanted to leave our luggage for some time after the check-out, there was absolutely no problem to leave them as much time as w. The right choice! The hotel is suitable for traveling around the country and convenient for a business trip. Near the station. The hotel is very clean, professional staff, the room has a kettle for a coffee and tea. In the lobby during the day you can have a tasty snack. Breakfast is expensive and goes for people who love to eat in the morning, for those who drink a cup of coffee and a croissant - there many cafes close to hotel. There is a supermarket near the station. Hotel location is great, middle of shopping centre, I describe this hotel as luxury and deserves more then 3 stars. Location-wise, although it's quite a distance from the main town, you don't feel it because there's so much to see that's gorgeous on the way. In the middle of the night, we heard lots of sirens and shouting on the streets. To access the hotel you need to take the elevator because the hotel is on the second floor. The street behind the hotel, where their parking is, is not the best. Use the parking of the hotel and not the one in front of the hotel parking because it is extremely dirty and not with the best people during the evening/night. We didn't have breakfast there because we had to leave early, so we can't say how it was. We do think it was rather expensive (€ 14 pp). At the price of the hotel, the parking price should be included. If you need the car park, count an extra 15 EUR/day. Too bad the parking costs aren't included (€15 per day) but you can pay at the reception so not a big problem. The breakfast is quite expensive. So we decided not to take it. Although it smelled and looked very good when we left the hotel. This is not about hotel: but beware of taxis in Luxembourg - had to pay 70 euro for 8 minutes ride! A shame for the country. It was difficult finding the parking garage and only after we had checked in did we learn of the hotel parking next to the garage. Not clearly marked or explained on the website. The breakfast was too expensive and although a McDonald's was next door, it didn't open up until 10:00 am. Nothing. nothing. The view from the room is on the street and can be noisy. A bit difficult to find parking. Nothing really. no toiletries, except of shampoo and handwash. Expensive(19€ per person) breakfast There was no minibar/mini fridge in the room. Hard to find a good restaurant nearby. Trains in Luxembourg proved rather awkward, though this didn't have any bearing on my stay in this hotel. Would stay here again anytime. Nothing negative. If you can, ask for a room that does not face the street. It will be much quieter. We would have preferred a bath. Breakfast seemed rather expensive. The parking area is from the back side of the hotel, which is not visible from the front door. This is already indicated as the important information when we booked the hotel, but we missed it. The toiletries are by default (?) not available. Hard to find as the entrance is via an elevator on street level but look out for the big sign and you can't miss it. Wifi a bit slow. The breakfast was rather expensive, so we ate at a café nearby. Nothing. Parking was hard to find, they need a sign in the front to say parking is in the rear of the building. Nothing there which you won't like. Everything was good. A bit of traffic noise in our room, but it didn't really bother us. The hotel is a considerable walk from the sights and parking is expensive. website did not inform about parking, when I arrived I took the parking across the ParkInn parking center, front desk told me about parking facilities, had to go back, switch parking, ... could have been easier knowing about the parking facilities ahead or arrival in LUX. nothing.
