The most helpful hotel staff I have ever met. Both of us lost our luggage via Aeroflot (of course), but the hotel staff worked very hard to help us out. We asked them a lot of questions about where to go and what to do in Bishkek and Kyrgyzstan. The response we got was always friendly and informative. The english skills varies quite alot, but still it was not really a problem. Some of the workers speaks english very well, otherrs don't. They got a decent breakfast menu as well. We started and .

Walk from the center and hotel staff will call you a taxi always that will drive you for 1-2 eur to most locations in town. Overall - very good value for the money I paid. Really, the best hotel in Bishkek. Brand-new boutique hotel with nice quirky fittings and decor. For half the price of your average hotel in next door Kazakhstan, a real gem. 5 mins from west bus station (so ideal for arrivals from Almaty) and a pleasant 15 mins walk to the centre of town. The location is about 1.5km from the beginning of the centre of town, so I did quite a lot of walking. I booked a "junior suite" , but it was really only a lrgish room with 1 sofa and a hard sofa / bed in it. The sofa / bed was a strange design, but I actually slept well on it. Breakfasts are rather poor and you are to wait for the food as cooked individually. But you can make an order by a tell call from your room and then just go downstairs to the bar in 15 minutes. Dogs was barking all night around. :(. Breakfast was quiet bad. Location out of the center. No ventillation in the kitchen of the restaurant; the whole hotel smell oil, unbearable.
