Very large rooms, excellent comfort, state of the art electronics and the best climate-control ever! Super concierge service, excellent help in restaurants advice. Very good bar on top, and good "Peter" restaurant. nice facilities and staff are very helpful make me feel comfortable and bar in the 26th floor got a nice night view of tokyo but better reserve a table first, place is a little bit small as a bar.

They did not have my room reserved when I arrived for check in. I had to wait 4 hrs. Television on room 2211 was not tuned to every channel Fixed once but reverted back to minimum channels. the foyer - no suitable place to wait for guests, transport etc the breakfast food - very basic relative to other comparable hotels. The atmosphere in the lobby can be a bit show-offish and elitist. The front desk service. They made me wait for 30 minutes to see if they could give me a different room. After the long wait, they told me that is what was in my reservation (which I already knew) and were unwilling to change it. Not what you expect from a $600+ a night hotel. The spa is adequate but not worth what they charge for it. This is not a good example of a hotel where you get what you pay for. the Kyoto Tsuruya restaurant in the basement floor is disappointed. the breakfast in the brasserie closes too early ... best would be 10.30 and upstairs there is no buffet... Not much sitting place in lobby.
