The room was rather spacious for a solo traveller, and the location (just next to the JR station - take the north exit and then the east exit) was great. The location itself is somewhere midway between Ueno and Shibuya on the JR line so it makes for a rather accessible location. The staff were friendly and conversant in basic English too so check in and storage of items were a breeze. Big room for Tokyo standards, comfortable beds, clean, nice design, excellent location only 2 minutes away from the Yamanote line that connects with all main lines and goes to main places like Shinjuku, Shibuya, Harajuku, etc.
