  Loved the hotel's location. It's very accessible from the Osaka Park Subway Stop on the JR Loop. Makes it super easy to get around and it's lovely to get up early and go for a walk in the park! We paid extra for a room with a castle view and it was well worth it. However I couldn't tell the room we had was a smoking room to begin with, and my nose is very sensitive and I had n - The castle-view room at the 12th floor is very spacious for a couple. You have a nice view of the Osaka Castle & Park and the river. The nearest station is Osaka-jokoen, a 5-minute walk from the hotel. There is a convenience store at the nearby building but it closes at 11pm. From the Kansai airport (night arrival), it is more convenient to take the airport limo bus to Hankyu Hotel, then take the taxi to New Otani.

Breakfast was ok but we didnt feel like it was worth the money.

Location is also unbeatable: it's steps away from jr Osaka station and subway Umeda station.

  I arrived earlier than their check-in time and most room are not ready yet. But they have a room ready for me. I took a red-eye flight from my home country and arrived at Osaka, tired and exhausted. And I desperately needed a shower and this "special" service made me feel really good! You should be aware that this is a typical Japanese business hotel which provides everything you need in a small space.
