  This was a very good Ryokan in Nara for a quite reasonable price as far as Ryokan pricing goes (the dinner and breakfast were worth more than $120, potentially $200 just for those two in some locations). They also have a onsen which was quite enjoyable. It really was a great meal, and offset the price of the room. Breakfast is a sha - I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel New Wasaka. The staff has been really helpful since my arrival till even after I checked out. Especially, this hotel has several English-speaking staff and made my stay much easier. The food is excellent and good value for money. The Kaseiki comes with many Japanese small dishes, fresh sashimi and yummy beef shabu. Location is convenient too. 10 minute walk from Kintetsu station and walkable to Todaiji. This places offer very cool traditional Japanese rooms too

  The owner is very friendly and attentive while totally respecting privacy, the room is nicely traditionally Japanese facing a wonderful little garden, the ryokan is situated excellently (centrally but quietly, in a peaceful residential street with nice small shopping malls nearby, with walking distance to many major sights and close walking distan... what people say » ce to Nara´s two railway stations plus buses and taxi). - I liked the Japanese style room and the owner was very friendly and helpful.   The hotel was in a residential area, but is nicely situated as it's only a 15 minutes walk from Nara station and just outside the beautiful Naramachi area. It is also no problem to walk to Kofukuji and Todaiji Temple. The owner of the place is a very nice lady who welcomed us with huge bowls of Japanese ice cream. The room was big enough for four people and really comfortable, the air condi - The host was very helpful and went the extra mile for me. I misplaced my itinerary at the Nara tourist information office. She went down to the office to retrieve it for me. I was very touched! She also baked delicious cream puff for supper and made excellent breakfast. Wonderful service indeed.
