It was very nice, they had just opened so everything was brand new. The building it self is very beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They were also very patient as I changed my reservation about five times. The beds were comfortable and everything was super clean. They give you towels and a hair dryer. Theres also shampoo and soap in the bathroom. Also, before I forget, the hostal is really 10 min away and their directions are very helpful.
all reviews » Everything! It was so clean and fresh. I stayed in the mixed dorm which was a capsule room and I was very impressed by the size of the beds and the bathrooms were huge. Much bigger than the capsule bed I stayed in whilst in Tokyo. I also met some lovely people there and the kitchen area is modern and clean and bright, a good area for socialising. The staff were friendly. I hope I can come back again. I stayed at the 6 ppl female dorm. I loved that there are alot of space and also it gives alot of privacy. And also each of us were allocated a personal locker and shoe box, which I feel is a nice touch. Despite it being a dorm style, there is an attached bathroom and toilet for our room, which I really liked because it lets us has more privacy compared to other Khaosan dorms. =). This is the same group of hostel I stay in Japan. Compare with the other two I stay, this one has most bigger and cleaner room. The staff was excellent and helped to move my luggage to the next hostel after I checked out. I had to try all three to know which I will stay next time I come again. 5-10minutes walk from Hakata station, Japanese style room, very clean, amenities but no towels, excellent staff speaking English, two convenience stores nearby, quiet hostel, value for money. If u wanna buget travel and a non smoking room, it's perfect. Very clean new hotel Friendly staff Near station. Clean, staffs are nice. My only complain is that the shower was not hot, just a bit warm. I wish it had been a little nearer a tube station, but it is only 10-15 mins from Hakata station and excercise is good for you! I just shouldn't have been wearing heels so I can only blame myself. The Kitchen & Common Room is abit small and has a window opening directly facing the streets which I am not so comfortable with. Smaller kitchen compare with the other two. hostel is quiet itself but walls are so thin that u can hear all traffic sounds at night. Shower is a big problem to me, I had to wait for more than 5 minutes for hot showe coming back, not editable in winter time.

Direction From Hakata Station: Get out from Chikushi-Guchi Exit and turn left towards Lawsons. Walk down Takeshita Dori Street and walk about 100 meter to the intersection. Cross the intersection and turn right to get on Kuko Dori Street. Cross the bridge and turn left at the first corner. Turn right at the next bridge. The hostel will be on the left hand side.
