When I made the reservations online, it said there were no non-smoking rooms available, so I had to reserve a smoking room. When my girlfriend and I got there, the room smelled worse than I imagined, so we went to the front desk and asked to exchange for a non-smoking room, and they allowed us to do that. The staff were very friendly. And then we checked out, but our bus wasn't until 2pm, so the hotel let us keep our luggage at the desk while my girlfriend and I went out for lunch. We were .

The hotel is very nice, it offers what you are supposed to expect from a 4 stars hotel. Nice staff, nice and spacious rooms considering you are in Japan, and perfectly clean. Also it's like 2 minutes walking from JR Hakata Station, it has a Starbucks right at the corner and one convenience store right below it and one right in front of it. So it really pays off. You wont regret st. The hotel was very close to Hakata station, just across from the street from it. It was nice, clean, and new inside. The room was a bit small but for me and my girlfriend, it was enough. She even had extra luggage for her trip back home. The bathroom was nice and clean and the hot water came on quickly in the shower. There were a number of plug-in outlets to charge our electronics. And there was free wi-fi in the room. This hotel is located so near the main Hakata station that travelling around Fukuoka or all over Kyushu area is so easy. The people and staff are so friendly and definitely too polite to ignore. Breakfast was fantastic with choice of western buffet or japanese set cusine. Will stay at this hotel again at my next visit to Japan Fukuoka. Western buffet breakfast could be improved. nil. nil. No comment. the yukatas in the room are just simple long shirts, like hospital blouses ... clinical and gray... a bit gloomy.
