  A well kept secret - superb find. sadly looks as if it is no longer a secret. Whilst rooms may be on the small side, plenty big enough and bed comfortable. Bonus was that our bathroom was not ensuite, which probably gave us more room and a larger bathroom as well.   The location was more than excellent! It was very easy to find even for those who don't know Venice. It was very near to the main square and to the "vaporetto" stations. No more than 5 minutes on foot. Especially the staff was too helpful and polite. They were excellent. The rooms were clean, warm and comfortable. The stairs were funny.   I really Love this place! Wow! Although some people said the photo doesnt look the same like in reality, trust me, my room (room number 3) look exactly the same like in the picture. And to make it perfect, the receptionist lady is very nice! - The room was well-kept and quite large, with a comfortable bed, large flat screen tv, and a mini fridge. The bathroom was wonderful! There was a jacuzzi tub in ours, as well as a double sink and lots of room. The breakfast was good, with many options.

  Lived three hotels in Venice and was staying here for 3 nights. This is the one that I like most. It's like a family hotel with a garden inside and beautiful shared living room just near the river; room is clean and quiet; the price seems economical; and the stuff are very very friendly and approaching who helped me a lot, (like introduce the way ... what people say » around, how to get to train station, where is the convenient store nearby, how to set the safe box and access to the wifi, etc, etc...)   a lovely gentleman from reception desk greeted us when we arrived by coming downstairs and carrying our heavy luggage upstairs to second floor, then gave us a great overview of Venice and helped with directions and how to get around.   We recently enjoyed a 2 night stay at Hotel Casa Boccassini for our honeymoon. The hotel is tucked away and we did have to look hard to find it however if you do your research beforehand it will be easy to locate. When you first walk into the hotel there is a beautiful garden courtyard with chairs which is a nice serene place for the weary trave... what people say » ller to take a load off your feet. The rooms are nice, fairly small and nothing fancy with slightly outdated furniture, however the ensuite was new a - Cheap for Venice but still well over 100 euros per night. Cean comfortable and with lovely garden giving friendly homely feel. In a quieter part of Venice which is a huge plus after battling through the crowds around Rialto and St Marks square. Still only a few minutes walk from centre so why pay more for a slightly more central location? Receptionist didn't speak English but extremely helpful, friendly and polite. Breakfast in garden was not the most generous but in a delightful setting.
