We stayed at one of the San Simeon apartments for 2 nights. Well..........what beautiful apartments ! - ours had a beautiful view overlooking the lagoon with San Giorgio Maggiore island in direct view. To wake up to that view is heavenly. The location is so central that if you put your head out of the window and look to the right you can see the bell tower of St Mark's Basilica. Cruise ships sail right past the front of the apartments which is impressive to see. Despite there being a restaurant. all reviews »
Location was good for us only a few minutes to st marks square easy to get water transport and plenty of restaurants around,........

the beautiful view of the lagoon, superb location and cleanliness of the flat.
No negatives at all - just wish I owned a place like this !.
the letsbookhotel.com website states you can check in at the flat, but after a long email correspondence this was not possible, we had to check in at the hotel at the opposite end of Venice. The staff at the hotel desk said they would get the website corrected, but this has not yet happened.
