My husband and I have returned from 3 day break, wonderful, perfect location, rooms, small but lovely (especially if overlooking lagoon), away from tourist area, but still amazing, great to get to as vaparetto stop right outside. However not too far from main attractions and was great walking through the narrow streets. Matteo and Mario were very helpful and friendly. Good location, good and various breakfast very clean and quiet. The air condition was efficient despite the very hot weather. This hotel is a perfect sample of the local flavour. The staff was very friendly. The receptionists gave advice on restaurants and other things about Venice, it seems that they really care about their visitors having a good time in this beautiful city. The room was clean and comfortable. Location just right , walking distance from main attractions but not right in the middle. Very near vaporetto stop so convenient for getting around. Not too inconvenient though. wifi is really weak in the room The location is a little far if you have a suitcase. People looking for hotel like experience might not like it, since its more of a family run hotel. Breakfast!!! Very very poor!. breakfast could be betteer and fresher :-(. No screens on windows, be awesome to open windows without letting mosquitos in. Semi-weak WIFI. No kettle in the room, breakfast only till 10 not 11. No hot food served. There was no kettle for what we were paying for, and they changed towels every 3 days. Was really disappointed and angry for what we paid over 500 Euros when we were quoted 435 when we booked, what would happen if we did not have the money as we budgetted around the quoted price, and did not expect with interest rate going up and down it should make such a difference.
