This is my second visit to the wonderful hotel and it will not be my last! The location is amazing, only 1 bridge to cross with your suit case from the water stop, situated minutes from San Marco and the Grand Canal. As a solo traveller I walked back to the hotel well after midnight, to a warm and welcoming reception. Nothing is too much trouble. Nice breakfast - excellent coffee! To everyone at the Do Pozzi, thank you for a wonderful holiday.
all reviews » The staff were just brilliant, welcoming, friendly, helpful and they even kept their cool when our 5 year old spilt her yoghurt over their beautiful carpet at breakfast. The room was top class and very comfortable for a family of 4. The motel is in a top spot so close to all the action. P.S don't be put off by the alleyway entrance. We were initally concerned it was going to be a dinghy place but we were pleasantly surprised. The location of the hotel was excellent. Ut 9rovided good accommodations for our family of four. The refrigerator, satellite TV, and EXCELLENT air conditioning were all welcome plusses. Especially since it was 100 degrees in the Venice. The breakfast was extensive and yummy. The room was spacious by Venetian standards. Lovely decor updated facilities. I loved the location as we were within short walking distances from all of the best that Venice has to offer. It was located off a main street which limited the noise typical with these hotels. The breakfast was a typical european breakfast and was good. The staff were very helpful and the hotel was clean. The hotel is located off Via XXII Marzo which is right behind Piazza San Marco and one of the most famous streets in Venice. It was a great value for the price paid. The rooms are quite small - which, however,does not apply for the bathroom,which is surprisingly spacious for this kind of room. However, whoever visits Venice will understand that big spacious rooms are very hard to find in any hotel due to the architectural style and the topography of the island. The day staff in the morning at the reception was cold and unfriendly. The bed was not comfortable at all and it would seem that the matress must be replaced. There was no facility such as a kettle in the room. Lack of tea /coffee facilities in room or availability from reception. Tiny room and far two expensive even for Venice. Tight room, tight elevator with a really small door. Breakfast was bad with a very limited variety. Beds are not comfortable. Hotel located in a very narrow alley in which you need to make an effort to reach.
