A lovely comfortable warm room. Very small as it was a single but with a double bed and a canal view. Spotlessly clean. En suite immaculate. Clean towels and linen daily. Breakfast varied and with fresh fruit, cold meats and cheese, breads, cake, spinach pie, yoghurt, cereals, fruit juice, tea, fresh coffee etc. etc. Courteous and friendly staff. Great location just minutes walking from St, Mark's Square and the Vaporetto/Alilaguna stops. Some nice local trattoria - VinoVino recommended :.
all reviews » Small hotel but beautifully presented. Our room had a real baroque feeling which delighted my 16 year old daughter. The location was outstanding. Our room overlooked a canal and watching the gondoliers passing was an added bonus. It is 5 minutes from st Marks Square so it was so easy to see the amazing sites there but was also very peaceful. The staff were friendly and helpful. I loved sitting on the little boat landing with my book and drink after a day sightseeing. Great canal side location, centrally located for San Marco, Rialto and right next to La Fenice theatre. Very friendly, helpful staff and the only hotel that confirmed my online reservation directly, and offered assistance re transfers etc. Good size room and bathroom in opulent Venetian style. Breakfast was simple but more than adequate and helped make it better value ( is anything cheap in Venice ? ). An excellent hotel, with large beds, plenty of hot shower water, warm radiators (nice in the cold weather of March 2013), good toiletries, substantial cold buffet breakfast, and kind and patient staff. Massimo was particularly helpful with checking on the times of acqua alta, and very knowledgable. This hotel has a formidable location on a smaller alley between everything. It is quiet and the staff is nice and helpful. Recommended, but next time I think I will stay in Dorsoduro. The location was excellent within easy walking distance of the central sights in Venice. The hotel was beautifully decorated, very clean and the staff all very pleasant. The staff were very friendly especially getting us a private water taxi when the Italian train system went on strike! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!!!. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpfull both with helping to organise a pick up at the airport for us eveb though the flight was delayed and just generally. Gluten free basket of food given to me every morning for breakfast. The location and hearing the gondaliers paddle by singing to their clients. Having I asked canal view, my room was at the same height of the bridge, but nothing unbearable compared to the wonderful panorama!. Nothing I didn't like. We liked everything...!!!. cramped breakfast room which ran out of full range of breakfast later in the morning, fresh coffee/tea on tap in the morning at breakfast would have been appreciated. Any chance they could pop a few strong english teabags on the breakfast bar?. Breakfast room slightly crowded and not enough tables at peak time - but food good. The hotel can feel a bit cramped, both in the room and public areas (e.g. breakfast). חדר יחסית קטן. ארוחת בוקר דיי דלה קפה ומאפה. no garden or big lounge area for guests- but understandably, space is at a premium in Venice. 1. we had foam only on our bed, instead of mattress; 2. had to pay city tax by cash and no invoice/ receipt. Breakfast is limited but it's all limited in Venice, although it is very close to theatro di felice , i was lost many times may be my bad ... The room was too small to stay for two people, we didn't have many space to put our package. Brackfast was a little lacking to eat.
