The suite was large and very comfortable. Excellent view over St Mark's Square. The location was very handy to St Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace as well as to the shops and restaurants. No lifts, but it was only one flight of stairs. Make sure you have a mobile phone with you so you can contact someone to guide you and meet you in front of the unit. The best location in Venice. Right on the square so we were able to sit in the air conditioned room and look out over the crowded square. It was very warm outside, but cool inside. Beautifully decorated Venetian room. Nice bathroom too. Be aware you have to check in at a hotel around the corner.

Location. Location. The location was exellent. No tea or coffee making facilities. Was difficult to find. The address is 144 St Mark's square but the check in is Hotel Panada which is a few side streets away. Call and they will come find you and help you if you get lost. Internet didn't work when we were there. They need to put such kind of mosquito filter on the window to block it from out side, WIFI signal for the Internet connection is not that strong. Be sure you know where to check in. Registration is in hotel Pandora. Nothing. To check-in you need to go to Panada hotel, but it is not mentioned while booking. Panada is not far away but if it is your first trip to Venice it might take some time to find it. due to the location of the bell tower above the room the windows have to be closed at night or no sleep is possible. Off site reception was a little inconvienient. Very inattentive and sometimes even rude staff. Nobody helped with lagguage (my room was on the last floor and there was no lift). No minibar in the room. Very slowly check in/out. No view on St. Marc square as it was written in hotel review. Service was appalling , there was no room service , no drinks in the fridge , a/c was not working, staff was rude , there were no international tv channels , the porter was rude , no one comes to clear to room and to find the place is a nightmare. 1- it was not like the picture it is was worse 2- the hotel receptionist in another building in panada hotel 3- Its an appartement not hotel room 4- the design of the room was bad. They only had one key and would not supply a 2nd despite numerous requests. This was a big problem as there was a door on the ground floor which needed unlocking aswell as the room on the 3rd floor. Therefore two travellers could never split up: a big problem on a business trip (and probably on any trip).

Travelling information

By Air:
Airports near Venice are the Marco Polo in Tessera, 13 km from the heart of Venice, and the San Giuseppe in Treviso (where low-cost airlines land), 30 km from Venice.
From both, take the shuttle to Piazzale Roms and continue on ferry # 2 or water taxi to St. Mark Square. Cross the square to the Clock Tower next to the Basilica where the Best Windows suites are located.
From Venice Marco Polo Airport you can also arrive by water taking a water taxi or Alilaguna line ferry departing from the airport dock (use the internal airport bus to reach the dock).
To get to the Best Windows suites, get off at St. Mark's Square, cross the square to the Clock Tower where you will find the residence next to the Basilica.

By Train:
The Santa Lucia Railway Station is located in the heart of Venice on the Grand Canal. From here, take a water taxi or ferry # 2 to St. Mark Square.
