  We were very impressed by La Girandola. It is only 3 or 4 minutes from the Fiumicino Airport platform at Roma Termini, which is so convenient. The Hotel is outstandingly clean and nicely decorated. Our room had wifi, a safe and a refrigerator and very comfortable twin beds. There was a continental breakfast which was good and having it a bit ah... what people say » ead of the scheduled time to enable us to get to the Airport in time for our flight was no problem at all. The owner, Guglielmo, was so friendly and - Very friendly owner who made us a coffee when we arrived and showed us the main attractions on the map. Owner spoke only a little English but we muddled through and was part of the experience. Nice spacious room. Excellent double glazed windows meant it was quiet at night even in a busy and noisy area. Location was excellent with all sites within walking distance and the train and metro stations 5 mins walk away. I would stay here again if I ever returned to Rome and would have no hesitation i

  The room was very comfortable and clean. The location was very good - close enough to walk to the Spanish Steps and about 15 minutes to the Barberini subway station. The meal was the best - The Location was excellent for getting to the heart of Rome and a short walk to the rail station or bus system, or taxis. There were things to see and do as well as affordable eating places nearby. The breakfast was wonderful compared to what other hotels offered for breakfast. But the hotel staff was simply outstanding. I would definitely look forward to staying there the next time I visit Rome.

  We have spent in Morelli our honeymoon and everything was very nice! The location is very good! The room was comfortable, not noisy, cleaning was done every day! Breakfast was quite simple (served in our room), but it was no problem, cause there was a fridge in our room to keep our products. The hosts of the hotel ordered us a taxi to pick us from... what people say » the airport and it was also very comfortable! (47Euro whereas ordinary price in taxiservice is from 48Euro). Don't forget to take a mini-kettle with - I love the cappuccino and croissant for breakfast. Do not miss those! The location is pretty strategic with Via Veneto just a 5-minute walk away. At first I had my misgivings about the safety of the area as I was on my own, but I think it is much better compared to those nearer to Termini.

  Staff were very friendly, gave a huge level of detail on where everything was and gave clear directions, location was literally 5-10 minutes from Colosseum. Air conditioning made it comfortable in the height of summer. Wi-Fi was also of a decent speed and was included in the price. Also it's one floor of a building so it feels like you are staying... what people say » in a real Italian building rather than a cookie cutter hotel. The breakfast included is a little light but is pleasant. Overall excellent value for m - The host, Luigi, was incredibly nice and was great at explaining all the touristic highlight Rome has to offer and how to avoid certain tourist traps. There's great WiFi in the room and the place also offers a basic but a very sufficient breakfast. The area is close to the Central station and is about a 10-15 minutes walking distance from the Colosseum

  My husband and I stayed here three nights during our visit to Rome. Irina was extremely friendly and helpful, our room was comfortable and clean, and we controlled our air conditioning (a huge plus after 12 hours of walking!).   This was my 4th visit to Rome. Owner was amazing. He was waiting for us at the reception when we arrived and we noticed that he did this for every single guest, no matter what time they arrived day or night. We stayed in the Blue room between my parents (sharing the Queen bed) and myself on the twin. There is a kitchen with breakfast/snacks read - The facilities were clean and the room was large and colorful. It was just the shower that was small but that was all we needed. Location is across the street from the main train station so we didn't have to carry our luggage too far. Staff were friendly but we only dealt with them when we checked in since they do not stay on site. They do provide you with a phone number in case you need anything.
