We were plesantly surprised at how friendly and helpfull the staff were. They all spoke english which was very nice.You can not have a better location in Rome.You are at walking distance to everything - breakfast is filling, noting fancy, toast, pastery, coffee, tea , orange juice. The shower drain did not drain properly making showers not very appealing. Also, the free breakfast in the morning was not edible, but not much better than that!. too noisy. The rooms can be improved, the building could be cleaner and needs a restauration.shower cube too small, drainage blocked, TV no English speaking channel, no drinking hot water facility, no kettle even in staff kitchen, antique toaster in breakfast room (wouldn't cost much to buy one), no spare electricity socket in room (only those for the table lamps inconveniently located behind the bedsit units). The breakfast was very meagre. The rooms were not air conditioned and were too hot to sleep in, especially with a hot water tank in the bathroom. The shower tray was blocked and water went over the floor. The cistern sprayed water all over you when the flush was pressed as there was no top. The lift to the hotel was small and very old. Generally the room was very tired.the room was small and noisy, the bathroom was very small and a little unconfortable.
