What a wonderful place. Loved it. I arrived and was greeted by Diego and Milena the owners of this charming little "boutiquey" b&B. What perfect hosts, so helpful and kind they even gave me a phone charger for my mobile phone as I had forgotten mine!!! The room was perfect, beautifully furnished in a slick simple style, you could see that everything had been chosen with a lot of attention and taste. Also very nice and clean. My wonderful Roman breakfast, delicious cappuccino was brought up .
all reviews » Very interesting location.. I couldnt believe my eyes that it views 'the colloseum'. I'm relieved that I did not choose to stay at the Termini.. Because in terms of transportation, it didnt make any difference... This place offers everything, surrounded by archeological/ historical tourist attraction, convenient shop, taxi just infront of your door step, bus stop and sightseeing bus just 200 meters away, restaurants... And most importantly, u can just lie down on the bed and watch the colleseum. AWESOME!!! I asked for a room with a Colosseo view and I got it. When the owner Diego open the door to our room, I was amazed. It was the featured photo of No. 9 Colosseo I was hoping to get. Our experience with the hotel and of Rome basically was perfect in every respect. The room and bathroom has modern décor and I simply love white walls and sheets, I was not disappointed. Restaurants nearby are excellent choices too. I would like my children and friends to stay here when in Rome. Ide. Milena and Diego were very nice and super helpful! We stayed in the suite, which was off site, away form the colosseum, but literally right in the middle of all the "must sees" in Rome. The Argentina ruins were right outside our front door. An american would more classify this suite as a bed and breakfast set up, but it was clean, convenient, and in the heart of Rome. The bed was comfortable, the a/c worked great, and the decor was chic.Fantastic location ! The.vew was something we wil never forget ...we wake up every morning with the entire magnificence of the colosseum in front of us....the rooms where superbly decorated and everything was so charming...the owners where extremly kind and discrete. We strongly recomand !!. Lovely apartment, great view of colosseum, which was lit up at night. Excellent location, near Metro & you can walk to Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps easily. Relatively poor breakfast, brought to our room where we had to sit as family on the bed and take the breakfast from there. Not warm enough capuchino, juice out of a package and one croisont per person. At least half an hour up to one hour later than ordered. We should have asked in detail where exactly is this hotel. There is no sign on the bldg./ door nor sign of what level and where you check in. Small bathroom. There are two different kind of rooms, the smaller one is extremely small, suitable for one person with no luggage. Nothing. Breakfast not really enough !!. Absolutely nothing, we loved it!. Unseen owners. Cold-tepid showers. Pitiful breakfast-stone cold expresso. The worst place I have stayed in decades of travelling. Expensive view...in fact even though I had prepaid (a lesson in that ) I left early and went back to the wonderful place I had previously stayed.
