all reviews » Location. We just needed a place to sleep near the Termini for the next mornings flight out of Rome. The price was fair. breakfast,very clean and well positioned. Big room and very central location. The location. Closeto the bus station and that's all. Only location... The location. the bed and pillows are HARD - the rock that St. Francis of Assisi used (before meeting the Pope) was probably softer than our bed and pillows. The hairdryer and refrigirator was not working in the room. Staff was hit and miss. First concierge we met was quite literally a jerk. He was not busy, nor were we rude at and he treated us (customers) as if we didn't belong. This concierge also lied about having maps and basically tried to usher us out of the hotel. Later on we met a new staff who was very polite to us, but by then we were checking out. It is just older, but it worked for our 1 night needs. staff is not very friendly and the sink and shower were stucked. Hotel has seen better days, a bit rundown for a 3 star. The hotel had no functioning air condition (+33-36 degrees Celcius). The answer to my question was "next week".... The staff,smell,very small. Some of the staff at the reception was very rude. It was too expensive according to the money that you paid. The furniture at the rooms were very old. Also, when you entered the room, there was a very bad smell. The pictures on the website was not realistic. They do not match the real ones. Consequently, if you can not find any hotel in Rome, you can stay there. Otherwise, I do not recommend anyone to the hotel. The room was very disappointing, as a couple on a 40th birthday celebration (hotel were notified) we were given a room with 4 beds in, would have suited young student travellers on a very tight budget, I do not think £100 for one night accommodation is particularly low budget. We chose to spend as much time asway from the hotel as possible. On checking out the staff were plain rude. Bathroom poor No cold water. Rooms much too small. Baths ridiculous.
