Helpful staff;there was a mistake and we were taken to a room with two twin beds while we had asked for a double, and when we informed them at the reception they transferred us to another room immediately. The room was excellent, very spacious and very good value for money. Breakfast was very good, with a nice selection of cold and hot food. Excellent shuttle service to the airport. we have been in Junior Suite and I have to say it was just great!.

The location of the hotel (near Termini Station) is excellent. The room was quite hot, since the default temperature of the AC was set really high and unluckily our room's AC was not working, i.e. the temperature couldn't be changed. Breakfast quite good, eggs, sausages, bacon also provided.Central location only a short walk away from Termini and most of historical attractions. We expected to find a big double bed (we booked a double room) and we got two single beds. Last thing, we had the impression (only impression because we didn't keep the bill and we had dinners too) they did charge us more compare to the rate we had from the reservation form. minibar should be for free, i requested a double bed but had two single together. There was nothing that i didn't like about the hotel. Not all rooms are non smoking rooms. You can be unlucky and get a smoking room and it can be very unpleasant.The room we were allocated was not as expected, although ok for ourshort stay. No chair; No water . There should be at least a bottle of water in 4 star hotel!!! No coffee machine in the room (in Italy !). Like many times, as a single traveller I got a twin bed which really annoys me. I can't possibly sleep in 2 beds at the same time and putting them together makes no sense because they roll apart and you'll fall in between. The gym was not well equipped. -the TV set is hard to see in our twin room when we both lying on our own beds (room 323). shower leaked and there was no way of controlling the room temperature very warm although it was early March. Interior room in front of the elevator. You could hear guests talking as they wher waiting for the elevator. Breakfast was of poor quality.The personnel were quite rude in the reception from start and didn't speak English too well. We were billed some minibar drinks that we hadn't drunk. No-one said goodbye when we left. The beds were hard, the shower leaked to the bathroom floor. A/C broken down, initial reservation overbooked shifted hotel twice endedn staying at Royal Santina.
